This is my never ending grow log, started in January 2011. I have bhut jolokias, chocolate habaneros, and red caribbean habaneros growing this year. Next year i will have a larger variety so stay tuned for that!

took these 3 wild chilitepins outside to see if they can take the heat. i really hope they can because im out of room inside

You said those tepins are supposed to be native to some part of southern AZ didnt you? If so they should be able to take the heat after a bit of hardening off I would think... Let us know how it goes, and once those pods ripen let us know how they taste!!!
yeah they are native to southern arizona and mexico. they grow best under mesquite trees. the pods taste awesome and have a fair amount of heat. same guy i got the seeds from also makes sauce and its one of my favorites. cant wait to have some fresh pods to make my own. these that i put outside are on my covered patio and has a mist system so i should be fine

yes it is. i had 4 of them that just finished up. 45-50 days fermenting on each
i finally raised my shade cloth. it was long overdue.

now my indoor space is much more manageable. before i couldnt even get in there to water

put up some shelves. moved some more plants on the patio now that temps are barely reaching 100 degrees for a high.

thanks! the plants in the solo cups from these last pics are not peppers. they are sweet acacia trees i started from seed this summer.

Nighttime temps in the 80's?!
Holy God dude. That's twice my nighttime temps and a good 30 degrees hotter than day time. No wonder you have everything under clothe or inside.

yeah we can grow year round out here, last year we only had 2 nights of frost and that was in late january.Awesome pictures cowboy! Thanks for the update! Your plants have grown quite a bit since I last visited your GL. WOW.
