Alrighty folks! It's almost plant out time and that means that my basement and lights are going to be freed up for some crossing projects through the summer. 
 
I have 4 DWC buckets available for growing peppers indoors all summer. (not to mention racks for seedling growout)
2 spots are already taken by White Fatalii and CGN-21500.
 

 
These Plants will be the Base for all my other crosses. Meaning that I will use pollen from plants that are outdoors in the rest of my collection crossed with these. These will be tagged and harvested and grown out in the basement to choose phenos. I'm planning on going for taste more than heat.

Once the poll is complete Thursday night- the two winning plants will be moved to the hydro system and this thread will serve as my grow log for this project.

Hey D3 my Bahamian Coat X Yellow butch T didn't germinate .
I am sowing my last flat for this season what would you recommend the pineapple X butch T yellow scopion or the carbonero cross?

 
Both!, the Carbonero cross seems to be doing well for me and there's variation in all my Pineapple X Butch T.
 
My Paper Lantern X Butch T seem to be prone to a fungal or bacterial leaf spot. Only ones affected, hydro and soil...

I ended up deciding to go with the carbonero x yellow butch t scorpion.
There was six seeds so it worked out well.
How the heat & taste ?

Carboneros taste great, i'd lump them in the same rating as moa bonnet and baha goats. They are a similar heat even the one I tried from my cross. I've only gotten the one pod off it so far.

No problem, I just got a bunch of the lemon drop x inca berry F2 seeds from sentenced to burn, I'm getting ready to pop a few if anyone else wants to try them just lmk. These should have more variation to them than f1

Hahaha awesome man! Can't wait to see what they look like. I ended up selling a bunch of F1 peppers at farmers markets because the plants were so plentiful.

Mine is big too, I really should of topped it but it's flowering now so that should slow it down.

What soil / nutes are you using?

It came back to me from my buddy in miracle gro. I threw it in some fox farms ocean forest (what it had originally) on Thursday after shaking off as much MG as I could. That's it for now but do feel I need to give it some Myco Blast by the weekend to get the roots jumping. I probably won't do anything else until plant out since ffof has a bunch of goodies already.

I was hoping to get by on happy frog but all it did was bring in a infestation of fungus gnats. Promix is nice but I hate how it's hydrophobic when it drys out and all I have are hydro nutes so I typically have some form of deficiency while in doors. 
 
While weather is nice I need to amend my garden beds outside. Worm castings are too expensive, will probably till in some more perlite and a few bags of mushroom compost if it's not too hot for this late in the year. I imagine it wouldn't be since most the nutrients are used up at the mushroom farms.
