Alrighty folks! It's almost plant out time and that means that my basement and lights are going to be freed up for some crossing projects through the summer.

I have 4 DWC buckets available for growing peppers indoors all summer. (not to mention racks for seedling growout)
2 spots are already taken by White Fatalii and CGN-21500.

These Plants will be the Base for all my other crosses. Meaning that I will use pollen from plants that are outdoors in the rest of my collection crossed with these. These will be tagged and harvested and grown out in the basement to choose phenos. I'm planning on going for taste more than heat.

Plants to choose from

My biggest focus will be crossing the White Fatalii with CGN-21500 but will do plenty of other crosses with them as well.

Looking great!

I'm happy I kept the little 7pot burgundy x CGN-21500. I now know for sure that the father was CGN. I had my doubts

It  wasted no time coloring up once it got its own pot.

Zero doubt in my mind now that is who I used to pollinate with. I thought it all along but couldn't be certain  since I didn't write it down.

So I decided to taste test the runty little pod on the n7pybs x butch T yellow.

obviously no seeds, had a very light chinense smell, taste was grassy/bell with more scorpion than 7pot flavor but a mild heat in a roof of the mouth burn. Kept feeling like it was going to get really hot  but didn't. Maybe cayenne-low hab level. Of course this was a runt so a full size pod might be a different story

Those sizes are usualy only a 10th of the real heat.. I used to pick and eat 7 Pot Barrackpores off my plant and eat them at that size while I walked around the garden, only felt like 100k at most... but then the real sized pods easily hit 1m +

I got about 5 more that size ripe on the plant. Can't wait until it's warm enough to move all the plants outside. I think i'll move the hydro plants into soil out doors come spring as well. At least into some big pots. Probably put my baha goat mother in the half barrel since she's so big.

I'm germinating the 4 F2 seeds from Carbonero X Butch T yellow and I'm retrying the N7pybs X aji limon to see if any will germ.

I still have seeds available of the crosses is anyone else is interested in growing them

7pot burgundy X CGN-21500 x2
Aji Pineapple X butch t yellow x2
paper lantern X butch T yellow x3
Carbonero X butch T yellow x3

Same conditions apply, must be active, no renaming, post plant updates here, share seeds with me if you get a pheno I like yada yada yada

Sorry have been real disorganised with my stuff, just got around to sending your seeds dude. There are over 100 of them in there so should hopefully be enough in case there are germination issues.

Sweet, look forward to it. Do you want any f3 from those after my seasons over?
Hey thanks dude I'd be keen! The latest that would work for me would probably be about end of September or start of October. So if you do happen to have the seeds by then definitely send them through and I'll plant a whole bunch.

Actually since these arent chinense, I'm sure I could keep a few plants relatively small and bring them into the greenhouse if it gets too late in the season, so even if you have the seeds as late as November should probably still be ok. It's not about the volume but about getting through the generations. If we can toggle between the two of us, 2 generations per year, that's pretty sweet. From F1 to stable in 4 years!

Hey D3 my Bahamian Coat X Yellow butch T didn't germinate .
I am sowing my last flat for this season what would you recommend the pineapple X butch T yellow scopion or the carbonero cross?
