Alrighty folks! It's almost plant out time and that means that my basement and lights are going to be freed up for some crossing projects through the summer. 
 
I have 4 DWC buckets available for growing peppers indoors all summer. (not to mention racks for seedling growout)
2 spots are already taken by White Fatalii and CGN-21500.
 

 
These Plants will be the Base for all my other crosses. Meaning that I will use pollen from plants that are outdoors in the rest of my collection crossed with these. These will be tagged and harvested and grown out in the basement to choose phenos. I'm planning on going for taste more than heat.

My biggest focus will be crossing the White Fatalii with CGN-21500 but will do plenty of other crosses with them as well.

Once the poll is complete Thursday night- the two winning plants will be moved to the hydro system and this thread will serve as my grow log for this project. 

Y'all are more than welcome to offer suggestions as to what you would like to see crossed with what as well. I'm sure I will be sharing seeds with most of you at some point (prolly F2? maybe some F1's)

Yea, happy to see it put some girth on. Much wider so far. Not quite as long yet almost.

been 4 days and the crossed flowers on Omni Color haven't dropped yet so that's a good sign. Can't really tell if any growth to them though

I have a couple of small pods on the Inca/Lemon cross. Nothing yet on the Butch/Baha. I will snap a few pics tomorrow if it is not raining again.

I'm just starting to get flowers on my baha/butch nothing opened yet. I also spotted a few flowers on the paper lantern x butch in hydro but that plant is a train wreck with that black spotty fungus so I'm going to probably trash it. Other two outdoors looks fine.

It's looking real good, big and healthy. Glad it's doing well, one of mine that was in the greenhouse just dropped all its leaves. Not sure if it dried out or the roots got too hot. Ordering a shade cloth for it tomorrow.

Dusted two more flowers on Omni color with Peach Bhut pollen today. None the crossed flowers have dropped yet and appear to be developing but still a little early to say for sure.

I think there might have been a tiny pod forming of one of mine. I'll check again after work. My would be neighbor who's building up above us sprayed an excessive amount of herbicide, pretty much right next to my house yesterday. I'm hoping my plants didn't get poisoned.

Speaking of flowers, aji amarillo x caribbean red hab started to get some rather large baccatum flowers on it.

If you look real hard you can see a hint of spider mite filaments between the nodes. Going to get those bastages some time this weekend with some azamax. 
 
I forgot to upload the pics of aji pineapple x butch T yellow. New leaves are coming in nice
 

 
Both plants are looking good though I don't think I see any flowers on them yet
 

 
The bahamian goat X butch T yellow I brought out from hydro is still recovering but starting to see a lot of node growth forming on lower half that dropped its leaves. I want to assume it was root damage or something since all the leaves dropped where mainly on one side of the plant.

I have 3 plants in containers.  I have pods on two of the plants so far.  The first plant has two pods that are shaped like the Aji Pineapple. 
 

 
The pod on the second plant seems to be shaped slightly different, but the pic is blurry.  I truly suck at taking pictures.  I just looked at some website for tips for the iPhone.  Hopefully my pics will eventually get better.

Looks good, yea second plant looks to be more bulbous. thanks for the update!  won't be long before we got ripe pods to try  
 
 
One the flowers I pollinated on omni color is def developing a pod. The rest dropped. This one was Omni Color X Peach Bhut

Really hope it doesn't drop this pod, looks like it will ripen soon. Much larger than a typical aji pineapple pod.

Pods and plants are looking food from those crosses. I don't have any of your crosses but the regular Aji Omni's are doing the best out of all my plants.

Had to go with the community garden this year. Just not enough sun at the new place but luckily it's temporary. Just those five lonely buckets for now.


It's an 8 gallon bucket so the plant size might be deceiving.
