Alrighty folks! It's almost plant out time and that means that my basement and lights are going to be freed up for some crossing projects through the summer.

I have 4 DWC buckets available for growing peppers indoors all summer. (not to mention racks for seedling growout)
2 spots are already taken by White Fatalii and CGN-21500.

These Plants will be the Base for all my other crosses. Meaning that I will use pollen from plants that are outdoors in the rest of my collection crossed with these. These will be tagged and harvested and grown out in the basement to choose phenos. I'm planning on going for taste more than heat.

Plants to choose from

My biggest focus will be crossing the White Fatalii with CGN-21500 but will do plenty of other crosses with them as well.

Once the poll is complete Thursday night- the two winning plants will be moved to the hydro system and this thread will serve as my grow log for this project.

Y'all are more than welcome to offer suggestions as to what you would like to see crossed with what as well. I'm sure I will be sharing seeds with most of you at some point (prolly F2? maybe some F1's)

Really digging the shape of the Bahamian goat X butch T yellows. I'm glad this plant survived the transplant from hydro and is fully recovered.

Finally getting my first pod on the Aji amarillo X Caribbean red Habanero!  I was starting to get worried. The plant is huge and will need to be moved out of my greenhouse soon at this rate.

Hey those F1s look slightly different to my F1s, mine were more round and pretty flat, these seem to be slightly bumpy. I didnt realise there could've been difference between F1 crosses
I will take some better pics once they are ripe and off the plant. I have no idea if that is expected or unexpected. I think D3 wanted a few people to grow them, probably for this exact reason.

Yes and exactly, i have one f1 and a couple f2 going. Lets see how they taste, i think stb said his where kind of unimpressive flavor wise so if these taste good maybe we can arrange a smfr exchange this summer

They are looking looking really good, pod shapes are similar to what I'm getting. Hopefully you enjoy them.

Hey, Michael, it will be interesting to see how
your crosses look 3 or 4 generations in! I've been growing
Trippa's Mystery Cross for 3 generations, and it seems as
if the pods in F4 will be white like the F3s. They were
looking bright yellow, but are fading to white with
the decent weather.

I agree, won't be too long before we are there can't wait to see what pops up.

I stopped by the brew and grow and picked up 3 bags of ocean forest and two 7 gallon pots to pot up a few plants. I also evicted the Aji Amarillo X Caribbean red habanero as it was taking too much room in the greenhouse.
