D3's 2016 Growlog

Well 2016 is already fast approaching and it's time to start thinking about what to grow this coming year. Last year I started seeds in mid Dec and was running out of room for plants by the time plant out finally came. I think this year I will start the majority in January. 
 
I was going through my seeds to send to a few and figured it was time to start formulating a list of what I want to grow. 
There was a lot that I grew 2015 that while ok, I didn't see myself growing again and a few that definitaly made the grow list again. a few off the top my head being paper lantern, baha goats and moa bonnets. Just the right heat levels and great as smoked powders.

if youre having issues germinating, try doing the damp paper towel method... i germinated trinidad butch t's in 4 days... damp paper towel, and place in a tupperware container, and put in a warm spot... works like a charm, best of luck

 
Don't leave to much water, rotted out some of my seeds.

Looks good.  My first ones should hit dirt tomorrow got them in towels now.  Might have to try the tea thing this year also if its got some anti microbial effects.

No clear winner but Peach bhut is a little higher than the others. Not bad for 5 days in soil.

All but the Bahamian Goat has sprouted and been moved off the heatmat. 
 

 
Even Aji Amarillo X Caribbean red hab and the 7pot burgundy X mystery.  When I tried these last fall I couldn't get a single germination and I used the last of my seeds to try this one last time. So i'm happy there's at least one sprout of each. Maybe they just needed that little dormant period.

Me too, I really don't have any of the popular supers this year. I added primo because I felt like I had to have something. So many peppers to try so little space.

Beni Highlands is the first to hook out of this round.

I'm getting pretty decent germ rates on most the seeds, even the crosses. The only one that had poor germ rates was Aji Amarillo X Caribbean red hab. Only one out of 8 seeds germinated... well technically it's the only one out of any of the seeds i've tried to germinate. I don't remember how many in the fall but none of those did either. 
 
I will start the final round of seeds tomorrow. Got a few new additions like aji jobito, rosita, sugar rush peach and cream, aji fantasy white and a few crosses from Freeportbum i'm going to try.
