YUM!

TB, we have you in on the feesh tacos challenge, not the deep-fried challenge.
Just trying to share the fun, xoxo

he said,you said...seems like a good thing~~~

That looks dang good no matter what street it's from SL!
A taco wagon in inland north central WASHINGTON! Believe it or not, it's on Main Street, Brewster, WA. Oh yea, yum-good. Who'd a thunk it? Could do with a little more heat in their table sauces though.

Lunch a couple days ago.....

It would be my honor to do a feesh taco challenge with you Sl. There is no greater fun than to peruse your posts and pics of your culinary delights. Texan as I am, you are unmatched and I can only be counted to be so fortunate to share the same page of your gastronomic brilliancy. Even I must recognize that the force is strong in the PNW! Having said that...after the december t-down...I like to be liking some fish tacos!

god I would LOVE to do a street vendor TD

there is a specific food that we would eat 2 or 3 times a week when we were over in europe for our master brewers program, and it was found in 8 of the 9 countries I went to. I didnt look for it in Scotland because well what else besides small game and seafood do you eat in Scotland. Not nothing.

I am not gonna tell the food in case we do it, but if we do, its gonna be epic

I know that truck SL. güd tacos!
That taco truck in Brewster is the closest grub-tub we got, and it's pretty much tacos- mexican.

Street food would be awesome. (hot dogs JT?)

Street food around here might be deer. "Smear of deer"
We could do "Radiator Robbin Pops", or "Flat Snake on a Stick", "Windshield Whitetail"?

yea, that's the "street" food we have around here. The taco-wagon is 30 miles away. I was down there for work, picked up the grub and ate off the hood of the truck. Just happened to have the camera with me.

We have gut trucks everywhere around here. There's one that used to be just Mexican but now they have pizza, hot dogs, burgers even ice cream. You used to have to have an iron gut to eat off of one of those trucks but they have evolved greatly. I miss my construction days we had three trucks that would come to our job site daily. In Portland Oregon they actually developed parking lots just for food trucks. I think there's two or three parking lots full of trucks everything from American to Chinese to Greek even one that just does deep fried foods. Portland is about two hours from us I want to go check them all out one day.
I like the deep fried food TD or the Duo TD sounds interesting.

Now that I'm working for a client in downtown, I get the food truck thing. One day a week they block off the street on one side of the building, and trucks park up and down both sides. They're out on other streets the other days of the week, you just have to go find them. And agreed - what a difference from years ago. The trucks here have included: Creole, Mexican, Barbecue, Soul Food, Crepes, Cupcakes..... you name it. Oh yeah.... and if you want a hamburger or hot dog, there's a truck for that, too!

I think they're done for the season now, though, as they don't do that in the snow.

:drooling: I think I know what your mean and yep, it'd be epic!

Don't worry I wont tell

I am all about the food trucks. I loved the "Great Food Truck Race" on FN, and if I had the time I would totally go all in. I gotta tell you, the secret is military bases. You don't even need to cook amazing food. There is a hot dog guy that is just that, a hot dog guy. He pulled a cart and sold hot dogs, drinks, and chips. He took in 6 figures a year. I know that because I had a buddy who worked in the contract office. He only sold to the rifle ranges and im telling you, at 5 am there were lines of 50 people waiting to get hot dogs before they went and shot. The guys on the line went straight to the cart on their way back to the armory and he would sell from about 5 to 3 pm. I always thought if you had a decent food truck that sold meals from about 6-10 bucks with a drink you would be rich on base. Soooo many people go to the convenient store and spend 10 bucks on some taquitos, Doritos, and a Pepsi.

Anyways, back to the TD. My vote goes for Double Down December.
