Devv's 2014- Stick a fork in me, I'm done....

Time for the 2014 start...

Many of these plants were made possible by the generous people of the THP sending me seeds and pods Thanks!

I'm looking forward to warmer weather and dirt day!

I have a bunch of seeds started, and plants at all the stages.

Here's the grow bench, a T8 x4 on top and T5 x4 on the bottom, as you can see it's loaded.

I like starting the seeds in Jiffy Pellets, as soon as they stand up I trim the mesh off and plant them 1/2" proud in a pot, or in this case a cup.

Red Rocotto the lonely Pube..

A few plants living under the T5, I'm super impressed with this light!

Cool.  The pics of Annie's Peach Bhuts from last year looked great, I hope yours grow just the same.

Here's a pic of some of her Peach Bhuts on WalkGood's glog last year:

Pedal to the metal, my friend!  Your place is going to be a chili forest!
I'm stoked to see how it looks by the end of plant out in March.
Thanks Paul!

I've started trimming down some of the taller gals that are hitting 12"s..

I brought the plants out this morning when it hit 50°, as soon they hit the wind they started drooping.

So here's a few ladies hanging by the pool after doing fish emulsion shots :D  Don't look at the leaves at the bottom of the pool. LOL Mr. Turtle has been slacking...

It's quite breezy today and a few have more shading than I would like, especially this one..

Looking great Devv. Plants look like they're loving the milder weather.
Thanks!

I wish it was 4 or 5°'s warmer at night, they would stay out!

Great looking plants man....I wonder how many peppers you could grow where that pool is
Thanks Jeff!

The pool went where I had the best garden soil back then, so I just moved the garden further into the north field and started over. The wife don't ask for much but she wanted the pool :D

Well it appears I'm out of likes again, I'm such a tramp...

Scott, the plants look outstanding. Keep up the good work.

That is it Scott. Hydroponics!!!!!!!
Thanks Jeff!

I see you have ideas for the pool? You have to bring that up with LB!

Nice poolside spa for the peppers, Scott!  Your plants are
really far along - should be giants by Summer.  Way to go.

Are you stopping at 110, or...
Thanks Paul!

Last year was too late, this year too early...but I have scissors...next season I should have the timing just right. BUT...better where I'm at this year versus last...

You know better than asking that last question...I have a ton I just sowed this last week....I do know I'm going to have to grow just one of many of the varieties. They have to fit under the shade cloth or nothing will happen. The final picture will develop at plant out

Amazing plants, my friend! Good to see you have the Sweet Paprika popping up! My fiancee's grandfather would be happy to see them...he gave the seeds two years ago, before he passed...
Kurtovska Kapija is a real beast, indeed. Last year I had plants with 2 height, hanging 300-400 grams per pod...with minimal watering. I know ajvar, but Kapija is also excellent to be eaten fresh, either within a salad, or on its own. You will love it! :-)

+1 on that! The ones I grew last year were beasts! Maybe not as big as Balázs grew, but some of the biggest I've ever seen here in the north.

What a lineup!  Really great work.  You're going to have so many peppers this year!

Amazing list! Too bad I didn't get a chance to stop by yesterday... love the pool photos. You're ladies get to travel a bit! They seem to be enjoying it.

The sweet paprikas are quite hearty looking. Quite a beastly pepper. Scott is going to be buried in capsicums.
