Will we get warm weather and all the snow melts then we get another dump of snow and deep freeze, then it warms up and back down again etc.. etc..

Yesterday most of the snow was melted, puddles everywhere, once again it snows to recover everything lol.

That snow looks good from here, DF - but probably because I don't have to venture out into it!
 
Your starts look great.  They seem to have very nice color and it looks like you're getting a good jump on the season.

SO far but their slow, they know what the temps like out their, back to -10c this morning, sun is out.

lol, yup, I can see how they react to the temps outside, whenever it get +10 theirs a spurt of growth, -10-20c they dont do much lol.

That sucks.  Had you been generally aphid-free for a while?  I've had no activity at all for quite a while now, but this morning I noticed 1 or 2 on an OW.  Going to give them all a spray-off in the shower, which should prevent them from getting established again.
 
You're plants are looking great, though.  Everything's such a healthy green!

I feel your pain, Neil. I've decided NO MORE OWs for me. I spent this entire winter on squishing frenzies and the bastiges spring right back up overnight. They killed my prized 4 year old Aji Amarillo and has laid waste to my LO Thai, it takes all the patience I got with nursemaiding the Rocotos. It's fantastic in theory, the OW game, but once the bugs are in, they are in. And they are much younger and more vigorous than I...

The weather and all this other crap.
The mouthwash spray did help with he ones on the porch, need to take a closer look, worried about new plants in regard to another chemical.

Porch Bugs.
Mouthwash spray slowed them down, one pepper got a boost in growing, overall the Aphids are super bugs.
