disc golf!

i just got an innova McPro aviar in the mail, its a beadless putter, stiff and 175g cant wait to throw it this weekend! my old flimsy putter i am using it as my get another disc out of a tree disc

i'm going to give the mcpro aviars a shot as well... beadless and firm with that blunt kc nose should be a good approximation of the aviars from the late 90's which are my favorites...

been screwing around with a blizzard wraith and blizzard krait a bit but i don't think they'll make the cut... i like my blizzard boss for raw distance but my timing kinda sucks with the light discs in general.

i am gonna pick up a couple ROC 3's and if you get the chance try out the mamba! i can get it to fly farther throwing at 75% than 100% with my other discs the MCpro looks just like my old aviar that is all beat up but much stiffer

well its 2/8 and i just ordered 2 more putters so i have more discs to practice puttinf(its what i really need to work on to get my score lower) a champion TERN its 12/6/-2/2 so slightly faster than my mamba but not as much turn or fade and i got it at a lighter weight, and ordered a ROC 3 so i will have a ROC to ROll and one to throw. headng out to morely in the morning for a 2 round session!

Lol... You'll have to be more specific. Which one of the 4 claimed by water in one day was that??? The roc is swimmin with the cheeta now.

Unfortunetly with this got damn apartment rental under way I can't definitively commit. Wednesday Is probably out, but Saturday might just work if it's early enough.

Where the other FL throwers at? We should have a meet up game day some day

it was the white with black lettering.

you need to get that apartment rented with a quickness! if yall can throw wednesday me and sonya are for sure going to.if not ill do my best to get down to you on saturday.

i still havent made up my mine about a putter. i think im missing my soft magnet? maybe i just go buy a new one,but i cant stand when they are new.

get a new soft magnet and play a whole round at whispering pines with it... it will be beat in by the end of the day...

got my mcpro aviar in the mail today- like the fact that it's a little more overstable than the base plastic putters but it's a little slicker than i'd like. hopefully it will get a little tackier with age. i want to use it for throwing rather than putting anyway.

played 9 holes with the cattle at hawk hollow this afternoon shot par- 31.

from what i have been reading is that mcpro was made to play in 77F weather, it will become less stiff and tackier in warmer weather. i like to use it as an approach disk and i have a regular aviar to put with

i wanted to play today but i have to much work to do :mope:

im going to check out that video this evening when i have some time.

star of that video is one of my friends.

i don't think they designed the disc to be used at 77 degrees... when they test the rigidity of the discs (discs which are too stiff can fail) that is the temperature they do it at.

there is a thread on DGcourse review about asking Paul questions and 1 was if his disk past the flex test and his answer was " yes in a 77 degree room" so i took it a different way.
the ROC3 is a good flying disk too. i will be gettting one in 180g and looking to get a firebird too

i've been reading that on dgcr as well... i spend more time on that site than this one even...

any particular type of firebird you want? i have some glow champions (CFR) and some regular old dx laying around here somewhere that i'll give you a decent deal on.

do you have any other discs laying around there somewhere? that are new or 9out of 10.that youre given decent deals on.

"PUTTERS"!!! im testing all kinds.

eagle,beast ,stingray,roc,

any straight drivers, and multi-mid-range discs that are similar to those

i was thinking a champion in 175g but shoot a DX could be good too. message me the price and lets make a deal! :) i am going to try to teach myself the "push putt" ad need a basket so i can practice and practice! putting is what is keeping me from shooting par or sub par consistently. i mean, i can consistently throw 325-350 and when the starts align they go 400+ so getting close is not the prob its the choking on the 30' putts that kill me

chec out the mcpro putt approach, great approach disc, i have 1 mcpro and 4 dx aviars new and stiff. and the new ROC3 is a great stable disc, i have 1 ROC3 in 180g coming for windy days, the new innova tern is a nice disc too its like a leopard on steroids!

i'll get into the boxes tonight or tomorrow- got several thousand seeds to stick in the dirt and microgreens to cut today and a farmer's market tomorrow. post office is closed monday anyway...
