right on! congrats! i got the dscs! i did not realize how hard the firebird fades! LOL great disc though, threw them a few times yesterday , i am excited and nervous for the tourney tonight as it is my first and there are 32 guys playing in the rec division. i know if my putting improves i can move up as i found myself being safe and laying up to par a few holes as i was not confident in my putting and would overshoot the basket(mostly mental) but hell i was not very good back when i played in my early 20's as all i did was smoke weed the whole time. look for a report later tonight or tomorrow!
played two rounds today. went to whispering pines played 6 holes then seen some scraggly hippy looking dude on hole 1. asked him if he cared if i played with him,he was more than happy as it was his first time there. turnsout the dude is from canada on a disc golf vacation! so we played whispering pines then went and played floral park. had a great day shot +15 for the day. beautiful day and just a awesome time.
i could have done better, but i guess tied for 7th out of 32 is not bad for my first! LOL started off horrible as we started with back to back par 4's 960' and 850' nervous and not warm dropped 2 double's but ended up +3 and it was at night so it was cold, shadows were nuts, lost a star wraith. signing up for the west coast disc golf VO qualifier March 23,24 at LA Mirada, gonna be EPIC!

all signed up for the West coast Tourney at LA MIrada, the spring fling on 4/20 at Morely Field, and the Challenge at goat hill may 4,5th. next 3 months tourneys booked! WOO HOO

i ordered a vibram ridge medium flex.168 grams yesterday. so that should take my putting to a whole new level
gonna be more stable than those soft magnets... also takes forever to beat in. i like the ridge for throwing though... a little less glide than an aviar with a bit more stability. i was part of vibram's disc tester program for a while.
fastest mail of all time. disc arrived today from maryland,orderd it tuesday. tested it out a little today in the back yard im digging the disc.
im digging the disc think its going to fit nicely. going tomorrow to really test it out.
