Yeah! well I'm trying to help by eating at least one cow per day.
 
That's what I thought when I saw it in the paper. It was for things like potatoes, bananas and a few peas, I can't remember what else. I expect wheat, maize etc.. No peppers :(
 
I'm thinking they're going to try to put everything in there....it was explained to me as being like the "Noah's ark" for flora and such.
 
well they need the peppers to make pepper spray to fight off the zombies... if the movies have taught me anything it's that doomsdays inevitably result in zombies.

hmmmm...i dont think pepper spray would work too well on zombies....i would prefer a nice basic Franchi SPAS-12 to deal with them.

The best ways of eliminating zombies are:
* taking head off.
* burn to ash.
* show first season of 'friends'.

Dammit Grumpy Bear, for the second time today I have a strange urge to propose to you lol.

Too true. Also perhaps they should have some test tube babies all frozen snd ready to propogate if all life ends. They should be automated and timed to come out long after all of the zombies have starved of course.

And since movie off-topicness seems to be rampant today.... Shawn of the Dead. FRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRigging Classic as they come. More so than most.

well i heard a few bad things about svalbard seed bank. The original president/owner/head of sse gave himself too little power on the board of sse head members and gave too much power to them he was kicked out for not depositing the seed of sse members without there permition and for spending money on a tool shed for the sse farm. another thing about it is that they dont just preserve the seeds they geneticaly modify the seeds. Its something they hide under the table and theres reasons why the USDA wont share seeds with them. and yes they do have peppers there i saw a picture in the sse catalog of i think elefantrussel pepper going to the seed vault i havnt seen the pic in a year or two and i dont know where the catalog is
