food Everythang' Tex-Mex!

Taco Bell.

G I can't believe you posted that loathsome abomination in this classy thread.

Post that tripe in California Cuisine thread.

Jay, even though I push your buttons and give you a hard time, I've actually seen you cook skirt steak on my porch grill.

Therefore, you are hereby given honorary Texan status (that is if I haven't already given it to you)

Carry on y'all.

Ok one more time, this time with homemade pico de gallo. Chicken and Steak quesadillas. Sauteed peppers, onions, and jalapenos, monterey jack and cheddar cheeses. One with flour tortilla, one with wheat.

No lettuce was harmed in the making of this post.

Are those fresh Japs in that there Salsa? Soooooooooooo good.

I swear I could them 'Dillas with a straw. Even the wheat one.

The pico is three fresh diced tomatoes, a half of a diced sweet onion, three large finely diced jalapenos, one bunch of cilantro, a splash of vinegar, juice of a lime, splash of garlic oil, a scant teaspoon of sea salt, pinch of hickory smoked sea salt, couple grinds of black pepper.

Nice recipe, I could be happy with that bowl and a bag of chips.

Garlic Oil? Did you make that? We've tried, but it never seems to work.

I do make it, but this one was actually one that was bought for me. To make it, I just cut up a bunch of cloves of garlic, pour oil in a baking dish or any shallow pan, put in the garlic and bake on 200F for a couple hours then strain. This works for making pepper infused oils too.

AHA! We have been skipping a major important step.
Heating it for a long period of time.

SUHWEEEEEEET! Thank you Jay!

Do you keep it refridgerated?

Yo! TB, on holidays and look at this.

Tex-Mex is ever 'whar y'all as you can see by Boom's piccy post.

It cannot be denied.

Just a little while ago I was feelin' all flamboyant n' sheeit and was cravin' some greek yogurt with a slice of cantalope.

Perusing back through the thread I was hit with an epiphany and found myself reaching down into my pants and grabbing a fistful of cajones and manning mysef' the hell up!!!

Now I'm feelin' like 'rastlin' a big 'ol steer and killin' 'em with my bare hands and ripping the skirt steaks right out of the dead animal carcass with my bare teeth!

Fajita's.

God's food.

Man food.
