Experiencing beer from other side of the world

I find that beer is a social drink, and one that is made much better by enjoying it in a great new setting (such as a place 7,000 miles from home). Where is the best place you have experienced drinking? For me it is Lithuania. Personal favorites are Svyturys Ekstra and Kalnapilis. Very nice beers in a very interesting country.

I'm a big fan of REALLY dark stouts, but honestly a real good everyday beer is Goldstar and people seem to agree with me.

Drinking Tiger beer from Thailand in Ulan Baatr, Mongolia. The beer sucked, but not that bad because it was the best you could get or drink vodka from soda pop bottles.

For me it's in the back yard, listening to the Yankees pound on the Red Sox's while sitting back and looking over all the superhots!!

This also includes grilling thick steaks and covering them with "Count Douglah" sauce from Bhut Camp.

My needs are small, that will do!!

You really like that Count Douglah don't you Superhot? If you aren't a paid endorser you should be.

Unfortunately I have a very modest supply like only a few ounces left. It is my understanding that he is out until his next crop arrives. The good news is that I have 10 or so Douglah plants and maybe I might have to jump into the sauce business. The truth of the matter is that I haven't found anything I like better on steak!!

I will be crying heavily in about a month!!

I haven't ever been outside of the country (yet, I'm going to El Salvador in a week), but I tend to stay away from imported lagers. In my experience, they're never as fresh as American craft beers. I assume it's due to the travel they had to make to get to my glass. Ales, on the other hand, are always great, especially Belgian ales.

Give me a nice Scotch Ale or Stout sitting by my favorite stream with a friend and my pup is my idea of heaven. I don't need to travel around the world to rub elbows with the greatest people on the planet...

"Poor yet still interesting". Thats a very strange statement don't you think? It seems to me to only be in the mindset of a "rich", interesting and arrogant prick. Give me the company of poor people over the wealthy any day of the week, they have learnt that you cant take it with you when you die and that everyday is a gift.
When you get a chance find a crowbar and see if you can remove your head from your ass, my guess is that its inserted too far to be salvaged.

Scott poor but still interesting-esquire

Thailand, but Mekhong and Coke, which you order, and they bring a bottle of Mekhong and a six-pack of Coke in a bucket of ice :D

You really do have a chip on your shoulder. Who mentioned rubbing elbows with important people? As a matter of fact, in Lithuania most people there are poor yet still interesting. You need to get the fuck over the deck life dealt you and quit hating on people who may be financially superior to you.
