free F1BC1 Free seed being offered

I was beginning to wonder if any seeds were gonna germinate.  Found 2 had sprouted today.
First pic is the Scarlett's Chilli X Pablano.  They were feeling a little dry so I had just sprayed them and the rockwool.

Next is the VSRP X Cabai Burung Unga.  (Hope I spelled that right)

I have a couple more started but they haven't germed yet.

Your f2 is will show the magic that is here. VSRP x C. frutescens 'Cabai Burung Ungu'. C. annuum 'Scarlett's Chili' x C. annuum 'Poblano' will be so much better in the f2, but expect to sow a handful of seeds so you can find the many hidden variegated gems in this one.

This cross has a nice black fruit, black leaves, purple flower, and orange peach looking inner flesh as you can see on a Capsicum chinense dominant hybrid. The seed is the result of outcrossing to a different species which resulted in just two small seed. This is yet another interspecific hybrid of mine.

Seed is currently soaking in h202 and will be planted tomorrow. Seeds like this may or may not germinate. The resulting plant may have fertile pollen, stigma, or both. If you have some seed from me sitting around... you may want to plant it to increase the chances of it germinating as it is not a given that it will.

If I am lucky with this cross, I intend to share some more seed here to those who have already proven they can grow out my other hybrids first.

With all of that said, those intraspecific hybrids with Poblano genes are some of my favorites even though they are C.annuum x C. annuum. I am confident that there is some serious magic hidden in those crosses for those that take the time to do so.

2 week update on these.
Scarletts Chilli X Poblano is the largest of the 2.

And this VSRP X Cabai Burung Ungu.  The cotyledons are still dark purple and the large leaf has purple edges.  Anxious to see this one grow up and see how it turns out!  They are still inside under T5HO's for now.

Here is a small update of the Scarlet X Poblano. I decided to leave the plant in aerogarden until the first pods ripened before bringing outside around other pepper plants. Excited to try one soon and will be posting another update.

I just glued five buds on this plant, this is the third try. I may have to try a different glue.
Anyway, cheer on the Ochu Cream X Scarlett’s Chili
Pics of the others soon.
#1 just up and croaked a couple weeks ago, so #5, #3, and (2) #2 left.

I hate that #one died on you, but I'll go ahead and predict # 3 will be one of your favorites if you grow out a handful of f2. With # 5, I made a very easy cross to get some spectacular looking f1, but the treasures there are only just beginning to surface as well. More recessive genes are hidden in that cross an it is definitely worth growing out more f2 from this one if you want to see some of them surface. The more you sow... the more likely it will be that they will show.
Show me how much you love that magic my friend and send some seed out when you can.

Love what you are doing and I can't wait to share more of my hybrid seeds on this forum. Especially with those that have done such a great job growing them out such as yourself. Out of this world work my friend.

When gluing doesn't work, you can always put pantyhose over a branch, etc., but the truth be told.... with a variegated cross such as you have it is easy to see if there is an outcross as soon as you see a few leaves.

A short video showing the actual cross pollination of another cross in progress. At the end  you can see this one is loaded. I predict some variegated purple, green, and white plants in the f1. Some will have purple flowers... but the real magic happens in the f2 when we get purple flowered variegated sweet peppers, sweet hot peppers, etc. That is where the taste explosion and the real beauty will hit. Because I love variegated Capsicum so much... I've also utilized a lot of Fish pepper parents in my crosses as well this year.
