Been out metal detecting with the boy. My first day detecting yesterday and my first coin was a 1978 half dollar in my back yard.

Something I always wanted to do was buy a half decent detector and just go for a walk in the park......I go to a park close by for a cigar and coffee in the mornings.....I used to see this guy all the time walking around and poking in the dirt with his little garden scoop.
