Good morning, everyone. Another beautiful day before our predicted freezing temps and snow. We should be used to these colder temps but most people are jerks when they drive in the snow/ice/etc. I'd rather have mpicante's rain.

Good morning, everyone. Happy New Years Eve day to you, too. 2016 was a pretty good year here in CO, but very dry for the garden. It was a wonderful year for making the fresh fruit jams. Looking forward to 2017 and a great garden harvest. How was 2016 for you?

2016 was a good year for the garden. Dry and hot though. I keep improving every year. Challenging up here at this elevation, with the short season. My Chinese plants didn't do well. Got hit with hail twice. Can't have any mistakes with them Chinese plants. No time to rebound. Will have a hoophouse this next season. Keeping everything under shade cloth. Hopefully it will be my best year. Lots of new varieties to isolate. Drip system is my new friend.

Good morning, everyone. So much to look forward to in 2017. The past 2 years' garden harvests were not even close to "normal" with interruptions from Mother Nature, pests, etc. So we're hoping for a great year with La Niña. It's like learning how to garden again.
