Good afternoon, everyone. The sun finally showed itself for a bit this AM, but it's still too muddy for yardwork.

so much for plans of planting garlic and cleaning up around the garden beds this afternoon
it's 33/1 and snowing

Good afternoon, everyone. The snow started late last night and still continues. Good thing we had good weather yesterday, but I'm still not finished and garlic is not planted. Maybe next weekend. The low for tomorrow is supposed to be 10*F. This is NOT fall weather. I think the trees/leaves are also confused.

Good morning everyone. Cold and sunny, feels like a warm soup day to me. We have a blanket of snow that will hopefully melt within a couple of days, and then maybe we can have a short season of Fall.

Good late morning, everyone. Most of the snow has melted with the sun shining beautifully. We made Cowboy Candy yesterday for daughter's friend and used the leftover syrup to pickle carrots and cabbage. We'll see how the experiment tastes later.
