32/0 here this morning, but supposed to warm up a bit this afternoon
no plans until this evening, so the wife and I might go see the new baby Giraffe at the zoo here this afternoon

The wife and I worked in the garden beds yesterday, and planted 40 more cloves of 'Elephant Garlic' to go with our Estonian Red Garlic crop

Pepper People really Are The Best
I am gonna have so much red garlic, and elephant garlic next year for sharing, making sauces and rubs, adding to mixed pickled veggies and peppers, etc.
We didn't get a chance to see the new baby giraffe yesterday, but she just went on exhibit recently to join the other 4 Giraffes there.
so i'm sure we will see her soon.
This Zoo has had...
They have had; 22 successful Giraffe breeding and rearing calf's raised for other Zoo's in the past 24 years.
They grow up so quickly though
She was born standing at 5'-foot-8" and weighed 120 pounds/54.4 kilos when she was first measured...
Within the next two years she will grow to be 12 feet tall +
and will continue to get taller, though the rate of growth will slow down substantially after the first two years.
they are all legs and neck and stumbley and awkward and cute and adorable at first
we will go see her, and get pics soon
today it's phones and helping the inept drivers
with using simple addresses and google maps

Transportation day for my friend who had the amputation, to see 2 doctors. She cant drive anymore, so we have to find transportation. I have to find more public transportation!
