off-topic Good Mornin' Thread - For those that get up really early and post

Good Morning!
 
Another hot one here in PA....and it hasn't rained since July 8, so watering is on the docket today.  Along with changing out the borage planters.  I spent the last of my Christmas gift cards yesterday on thrillers and fillers for the front-of-the-garden planters.  It's and odd morning.....very, very still.  No air moving whatsoever.  So it's lining up to be VERY hot one.

Today was my day off.  Everyone else in the house who had to go to work made sure I wouldn't sleep much more after they left at 0730.  Gee, thanks.  Yes, I already know I need to mow the green stuff that passes for a lawn.  0800, on it and it's in the 80's already.  It's noon and it's in the mid 90's.  So the rest of today is inside cooking, saucing, canning, oh and yes eating..,. :dance:.  Up at 0430 tomorrow, back to the grind.
 
Good morning.  The big wigs are still visiting the office and I have customers in house for the next 2 days.  In the garden, I pulled the last of the carrots and radishes. The blackberry production is winding down too.  The cherry tomato production is really ramping up and some of the larger tomato varieties are starting to pick-up. Lots of green peppers out there but we've only harvested a few shishitos.  The habaneros, scotch bonnets, jalapenos, poblanos and Ms. Junies have lots of pods going.  Not much from the super hots yet.  Be safe and be good.  
 
Good morning everyone. Another hot day ahead. Found some lonely hot peppers still living in cups, so they got transplanted yesterday. I dont hold out any hope for them to produce any peppers, but at least they are happy!

Sic - I cannot even imagine a community like S.T. since we dont have too many areas committed to only mobile homes. That is definitely a huge undertaking. Confront any alligators?

Catherine all the time. I've removed two from my property. There are two now in our pond that aren't bothering anything. Cross there path half the time I go to ride in the Green Swamp. Couple encounters while working but never at S.T. lol.

Good morning.  It's Thursday/Friday for me.  Got meetings until 1:30 and then I'm off to mow again.  I've got several chores to accomplish in the heat Friday-Sunday.  I heard on the radio that the heat index could be 110 this weekend. I moved my giant stock tank to the back patio and filled it with water last evening.  The grand-kids and I will be spending some time this weekend in our "country pool".  Be safe and be good.
