Good morning everyone. We finally got moisture in the form of hail. Will see what it did to the community garden later in the AM, but at home there are quite a few shredded plants. Luckily I harvested a few veggies yesterday. I did have time to pull a few pepper plants closer to the house so they should be OK.
Thanks for the condolences for my friend - I hope they take his ladder away! He was busy w/rehab yesterday so I hope to see him today.

Good morning everyone. Thanks for the morning cheer. The community garden looks so much better than the home garden, with only about 20% damage. My beets look funny with no leaves! Best to harvest a bunch today.

Good morning everyone. Another hot weekend, and then a bit of cooler weather. We are driving up to the mountains, visiting family, and doing lots of pickling for/with them. No garden there, so we supply all the veggies, etc. it should be a wonderful day.

Good morning everyone. First of all - Sic - not the above. Made 18 pints of hot garlic dill pickles yesterday but have more to use. We are going up the hill to the casinos today to celebrate our anniversary, and visit some of the museums there.
