off-topic Good Mornin' Thread - For those that get up really early and post

Good morning everyone. Today is our anniversary so we are absent from home and gardens! Dragonsfire, sounds like your Fall season is getting really close. Hope you are getting ready to harvest lots of produce soon. We are really late with 4 ghost peppers flower/fruitless.

Sic - let us know how the hurricane is affecting you as we only see the worst of the storms on the news.

Good morning everyone. Full morning of gardening, etc. already. Time for a break. Dorian looks a bit more fierce than first anticipated. Sic - you are smart to have your shelves filled for a few months with fluids. Now get canning and pickling!
 
Hope you all have a great beginning of the weekend. Watch for the kids and drive defensively.
 
Catherine we have lots of sour kraut and bone broth, lol. Good morning I am wore out mowed till dark yesterday. Need to pull some weeds in the nursery today and possibly get a small ride in? Unless weather really picks up tomorrow, doing a century with a buddy. Have a wonderful day count your blessings and good morning.

This is going to be a wicked motherfucker.  I haven't seen a storm come in this hard, this close in the 20 years that I've been here.  And it's no small system. I do believe a lot of people are gonna be having real bad weeks, myself included.

On another note, I've been wanting to start my life over fresh, and have been too lazy to have a garage sale...

The weather in my part of the country is close to triple figures, way too hot for me. Lots of chores to be done in the gardens and more canning. Early Fall/late summer is always busy here. Just wish I had more to show for it.

Drive safely and think of those less fortunate.
 
Good morning.  It's a beautiful morning in the heartland.  I've got a brisket and a slab in the smoker.  Things are starting to dry out a little (no more standing water in the yard).  The wife is out in the garden.  We're going to relax and take it easy today.  Might drink some beer this afternoon.  Have a great day and be safe.   
 
Good morning.  Back to the daily grind.  My office schedule looks OK today but it's going to be a busy week.  My sister is headed back to Colorado Springs today.  With the latest rain, the mosquitoes are terrible.  We're harvesting peppers at 50-100/day.  Things have really taken off.  No rain in the forecast for now.  Be safe and be good.   
 
Good morning, everyone. Hot 100*F temp yesterday - a record for CO in Sept. A few more tomatoes are starting to ripen, beets and beans finally doing well, peppers in a holding pattern. Picked crabapples yesterday and will make juice today. There's always something to be done come harvest time.
