off-topic Good Mornin' Thread - For those that get up really early and post

Good morning all :)
 
it's a cold one out here this morning -9F/-23C and really windy too  :shocked: high temp this afternoon is forecast for 0F
It's days like this that i'm glad we got at least a couple drivers, i don't want to go outside today 
 
i'm about to make some oatmeal with frozen blueberries added  :drooling:
 
probably see what i have without going to the store to make some soup for lunch

Good morning.  It's cold here .... not as cold GIP though.  It's crazy windy here too.  It was 4 on the drive in with a forecasted high of 18 today.  I've got hundreds of seedlings going in the basement.  It's gonna be tough culling.  I don't want to pot everything up just to give away though.  We'll see how it goes.  It looks like we get Monday off (President's Day) so that might be a good day to get caught up on the seedling work.  Today's schedule looks fairly light.  It might be a quiet day with yesterday's snow and today's cold.  I expect some of my office co-workers will stay home.  Be safe be good.     
 
Good morning everyone. Gee GIP - that cold front is really like the Tundra cold. Oatmeal and blueberries sound delicious this AM, with lots of hot coffee. Glad your parents made it home safely, Sic. 
 
I have an acquaintance that I see every so often, who loves to outdo everything I grow in the garden. He always wants to be first with seeds, harvest, best varieties, etc. He always has questions - and yesterday he complimented me for the first time on my choice of broccoli (!). I guess there's good in everyone, like GIP says, S.M.I.L.E.

Good morning.  Happy Valentines Day!  A balmy 1 on the drive in this morning with a high of 32 in the forecast.  It's forecasted to warm up a little each day over the weekend.  In the office for 1/2 day and then have appointments for routine maintenance on some of the vehicles.  It's going to be a long weekend as Monday is a holiday (President's Day).  Got plenty of work to do with the seedlings in the basement this weekend. Should keep me busy for awhile.  Be safe and be good.

its another cold morning here -11F/-24C and gusts of wind. It was really windy here the last two nights.
 
 Valentines Lunch this afternoon with the wife. She has to coach this evening  :neutral: (last night for practice, before the big: State swimmeet this weekend)

Good morning, everyone. Happy Valentine's Day. We're going to take the light rail train downtown for lunch/brunch and then just walk around the mall. Our predicted high is around 50*F so the walking should be OK.
 
Best of luck to GIP's wife's swim team this weekend. Hard work will pay off.

a comparatively warm 20F/-7C here this morning and the wind has finally died down after some crazy wind last night
supposed to get snow again on Monday but day temps in the 20's until then.
 
going to be planting more seeds this weekend  :party:

Good morning everyone. Looks like a great day for seeds. Valentines Day temp was a warm 57* so much of the street ice ruts have dwindled, but there’s more snow in a few days to enjoy.

Good morning everyone. It looks to be a nice end of the weekend, then the white stuff is predicted for Presidents Day. I planted a few peppers yesterday, a few more have sprouted. Nothing much is planned for today, though tomorrow we may go up the hill to the casinos for lunch with friends.

Ice fishing for me today so I probably won't think much about pepper related stuff! Midst of winter here; lot of snow with up and down temps since the last few weeks. Wish you a good one, relax and have a homebrew ;)
