off-topic Good Mornin' Thread - For those that get up really early and post

Good morning everyone. Just waiting for the white precipitation to cover the bare highways. We’re boxing up some Spring Cleaning horde with more to follow. Oatmeal and hot coffee to begin the day.

Have a wonderful day. Keep those loved ones close.

Sic - just read the ad for Ride The Rockies bicycle ride in SW Colorado in June. Looks grueling.
      RidetheRockies.com.

6 days.      418 miles.    Elevation change 28,000+ ft.

Awesome about the swim team and that ride looks fun Catherine. Already been up a hour, not sleeping good. Might try and lay back down? Headed to the Green Swamp for a hard forty as I'm doing a century out there Thursday. I really want to suffer today and another hour of sleep would be welcomed. Anyways, have a wonderful day be a decent person and good morning.

Good morning everyone. Dusting of snow here, more to come tomorrow. I transplanted a few pepper babies yesterday that look promising, maybe more on the weekend. It's so nice not to have the aphids like last year that hitchhiked in the new seeding soil. *Knock on wood*.

We're going to a behind-the-scenes tour of the Museum of Nature and Science. I have no clue what we will see. Last time we saw lots of dinosaur bones that were dug from the Western Slope dig a few years ago.

Glad to hear of GIP's wife's swim gals that did so well. Hope your day goes well. Keep loved ones close.

Good morning.  I think I need an attitude adjustment  :banghead: .  I'm being way too cynical these days.  My meeting schedule looks light today.  Anyway, it's 26 with a forecasted high of 41 today.  Got hundreds of pepper babies down in the grow room.  Need to start potting them up this weekend.  80 days until plant out.  I keep revising my tomato plan.  Added our tomato called Prairie Star (details in the SSE D'Base) to the plan since I'm low on seeds and don't want to run out.  Anyway, looking forward to Spring.  Be safe and be good.

Good morning everyone. Gloomy sky, just waiting for snow. Good breakfast of oatmeal and chai soon. Our tomato plans usually stay pretty small, but I have 2 new gardeners in the CG that want cherry tomatoes. I hope to receive the seeds by March 1 and then will decide which to plant. They are looking at Karma hybrids. Harry - your Prairie Star is a determinate, and sounds delicious, good for colder weather. Personally I like beefsteaks, but will grow BLT sized any time. Looking forward to Druzba, thank you.

I hope your day goes well. Respect the earth and enjoy the harvests it shares.

Good morning.  My attitude is improving.  We got a nice dusting of snow last night.  It's 21 now with a projected high of 32.  I'm hopeful to get the last of my vehicle issues behind me tomorrow.  I've got seedling potting up to do this weekend. Now I'm starting to wonder if I'm going to have enough pots  .  My work schedule is crammed full of meetings today so hopefully it will go by quick.  Be safe and be good.

Good morning everyone. I hear the drone of neighbors' snowblowers this AM, though we only got 3-4”. During the snow, I spent some of the day drilling holes in cups for the transplants - reused from previous iced coffee drinks. Time to pot up a few more peppers.

Oatmeal and hot coffee, then a trip to ARC with a couple of donation boxes. Slow, but sure. Have a wonderful day, stay safe and healthy.

Good morning all :)

cold and sunny here this morning, not a cloud in the sky, slight gusts of winds, and -4F/-20C
the snow we got yesterday, came with freezing rain before the couple inches of snow, so it's deceivingly slippery!

Wife made Blueberry muffins again   so that's breakfast for today and tomorrow

i'm stayin inside for as much as i can today

might make some chicken soup this afternoon

hope you all are having a great week

Good morning.  Busy office schedule for part of the morning and then I'm going to try get out of here.  I've got to get a vehicle in the shop this afternoon.  We'll have our grand daughter this weekend.  Not much else going on.  I counted 355 baby pepper plants last night.  That's way too many and I still have some germinating.  Looks like big time culling this year.  I've only got room for 120 plants.  I've got to start potting up this weekend.  Be safe and be good.
