off-topic Good Mornin' Thread - For those that get up really early and post

Good morning.  Some rain in the area until mid morning.  Then it's supposed to clear up and be cool.  I got the mowing done yesterday but didn't get the peppers picked so I'll have to do that.  I also need to trim.  I'd like to make a run north to the Carniceria to pick up some limes, Jarritos and something for the grill. Not much else happening.  Possibly some beers in the barn later on.  Back/hip feels a little better each day.  Be safe and be good.  
 
Good morning everyone. Glad to hear you’re on the mend, Harry. That sounds like a really bad fall, so take it easier than usual. Prayers for more healing.

Today we’re going to a huge Community Garden’s open house. Maybe I’ll learn something new. Hope to meet a friend there amid all the activities. Many thanks to Harry for the Druzba tomato seeds - I finally picked a ripe tomato and his was the first . Looking forward to a tasty BLT or just alone with a salad. Thanks for making the day a bit brighter.

Good morning everyone. The smoke seems more intense this morning and I need to water at the CG. Better make it quick. Some sort of pickles are on today’s docket, then something on the grill. Think we’ll stay inside after delivery of veggies to a housebound friend.

Good morning.  It should be a beautiful day.  It's 65 out there right now.  High in the low-mid 80s.  Yesterday, we spent 4 hours in the garden harvesting pods and tomatoes.  We should be good for a couple of days.  My wife did get some of the pickling done and will finish it today.  We also made the run up north to the Carniceria.  I didn't get the trimming done so I'll do that this morning.  Not much happening.  Be safe and be good.    
 
Good morning.  It's 65 on its way to 82. The grass continues to grow like crazy.  I've got a busy meeting schedule today.  The wife finished up some pickling and made some tomato sauce.  I need to get out and pick tomatoes and I need to clean and process some Fatalii peppers for the dehydrator.  We also have a stack of peppers to process for seed.  Not much else happening. Good morning everyone. Record high temp of 98*F yesterday, with predictions of 100* today. Too hot for me. Only a few errands and some picklIng planned. The winds have shifted a bit so we’re not smelling much smoke in the AM, with 4 wildfires in the state.

Hope your day goes well. Kudos for Harry’s wife working hard in the kitchen. Stay safe.
 
Good morning.  It's an unbelievable 53 right now with a high of 80.  Busy work schedule.  The yard needs mowing but I probably won't get it done until tomorrow.  Peppers need to be picked and processed.  It's been a good year for pods.  The tomatoes are winding down a little bit.  That's a good thing.  I've got a vehicle that hasn't been driven in several months.  Went out yesterday to start it ..... it's dead.  I need to look into that.  Not much else happening.  Looking forward to retirement.  Be safe and be good.  
 
Good morning! Hot day yesterday - 100*F, and today will be close to that. Watered early at the CG and picked lots of noodle beans, some banana peppers, a few tomatoes. Most of the few tomatoes are still quite green, but we did have a few small red ones. Late breakfast of eggs, tomatoes, and a few poblano slices. Nice to finally harvest something to eat, rather than freezing or pickling everything. Harry has an overabundance of peppers and tomatoes, but 2020 is the year for cucumbers, beans, and beets for us.

Mowing all day with the crew, getting to old for this. Between the heat and getting rained on every day I've had it with being a lawndog. 30 years was enough for me. Apparently all the young guys don't want to do hard work anymore because my buddy cant get any workers. Have a great day and good morning.
 
Good morning.  It's 60 on its way to 83.  Very busy work schedule today and then I've got to mow.  I guess the grandson will be here today.  I wish my son would come out to split firewood (I'll pay him cash but he doesn't want to work).  Sic ... I totally agree with you re:  young guys not wanting to do hard work.  The lawn guys are begging for workers and willing to pay.  Hiring signs are up everywhere.  Catherine .... I bet those fires are scary.  Let me know if you would like some pods.  We have thousands.  Be safe and be good.  
 
Good morning everyone. Another 90*F week predicted, pink sunrise along with smoke in the air. At least we’re too far away to get the ash settling on property. Thanks for being concerned, Harry. A few years back we had lots of beetle damage to the trees and now nature is taking away much of the already dead trees. Reforestation will be in another generation.

Harry, you are so very generous to offer your peppers. If there are any extras you don’t want to dry, process, etc. I would gladly buy them from you.

Ya Harry it's crazy. Mt buddy is actually thinking about selling his business or getting rid of all residential and doing parks only. Anyways, off to help again today. 3 trailer parks. Going to be a long day. Yall have a wonderful time in your daily activities. Bless up and good morning.
 
Good morning.  It's 62 on its way to 87.  I'm taking a day of vacation.  Got the lawn mowed yesterday.  I need to trim today.  The grandson was with us yesterday but he's back home now.  I need to make a run to the liquor store later this morning. This evening we're headed to pick up the grand daughter and we'll have her for the weekend. We'll probably grill something later on and then watch the match.  Got a few chores that have to get done this weekend.  I need to work on that car that's dead.  I also need to start processing tomatoes and pepper pods for seed.  Harvesting more pods on Sunday.  Be safe and be good.  
 
Good morning everyone. I’m delivering some of last years pickled stuff to a dear friend. His birthday is today and he always asks for pickled beets. First I’m off to the CG to water and pick beets for a neighbor who wants to learn how to make her own pickled beets. That makes me smile. Delivered lots of produce to a home bound friend. Nice to clean up the kitchen of a few things.

I hope your Friday goes well. Another hot day here but at least we haven’t had hail so far. Last year my garden got pummeled by hail on this date. Stay safe.
