off-topic Good Mornin' Thread - For those that get up really early and post

Good morning.  Getting ready to head out the door to go fishing.  Picking peppers this afternoon and then chillin'.  Grilling ribeyes and no doubt consuming some adult beverages later today.  Be safe and be good.  
 
Good morning everyone. Hot and dry - the weather report says we are the driest state in the US, plus most of the state is in a drought. Good for the humidity, but not the plants or grass. Not much going on here except for a few garden chores. Nice day for relaxing. Enjoy the fishing and the long walk. It’s going to be a nice day. Stay healthy and hydrated.
 
Good morning.  Fished for about an hour yesterday and then got rained out.  Another swing and a miss by the weather people.  It's 74 on its way to 91 with severe storms forecasted for this afternoon.  Moderate meeting schedule today.  I've got to pick peppers later today WX permitting.  Our grand daughter went back home yesterday.  We had her for 9 days.  I bet my wife sleeps in this morning .... LOL.  Not much else going on. 
 
Hope you get some rain Catherine. Totally destroyed from yesterday. It was a very hard and painful day for both of us. We finished what we set out for and earned the feeling of completing our task. We both have and need to do some chores today. They are going to be hard and slow as we are both very stiff and hobbling around. Hope everyone has a great day and good morning.
 
Good morning everyone. Thanks for the wish, Sic, but no rain in the forecast. I just wish the 90* F days would move East, at least the nights are cooler. Dill pickles are in the plan for today, both hot and not. Gurneys sent me an email to buy their garlic - at $7@. I didn’t realize how $$$ they were, since I usually use 25-30 heads for planting. Gardening is not for the weak, or so they say.

12c, garden feeling the change in weather, bugs atacking my Kale since yesterday, covered with these teardrop shape black bugs Grrrrr.
Looks like summer over with the night temps cold again. Roasting coffee right now and appreciating nice big cup of hot coffee :)

Good morning.  It's 73 on its way to 91.  It rained most of yesterday.  Only a 25% chance of rain today.  It was a drought in May/June but in July/August we've gone crazy with the rain.  Moderate meeting schedule today.  I need to make a Home Depot pickup later this afternoon .... unfortunately the pickup is in the county to the north of us (18 miles away) and that county is the cesspool of coronavirus in Kansas.  I absolutely need to harvest pods today.  We didn't get it done yesterday because of the rain.  Not much else going on.  Be safe and be good.   
 
Good morning everyone. The Glenwood Canyon fire’s smoke was quite evident this AM even though it’s many miles away. The orange sunsets are pretty. Garden chores and finishing the iris digging and planting are in today’s plan. The week ahead still has high 90*F forecasted. Just waiting for a few cooler days.

Good morning.  Well, I took a spill in the garden and landed on one of our raised beds (no alcohol involved).  Quite painful.  I have a huge contusion and bruise on my lower back.  It was an interesting night and morning so far.  We are contemplating heading to the Urgent Care .... we'll see how it goes.  I can barely walk but I can sit and can lie down.  I have a moderate meeting schedule today.  We picked over 700 large pods yesterday.  Over 50 varieties.  I have nothing but office work on the agenda today.  No chores until we this back thing looked at.  Be safe and be good.   
 
Good morning everyone. Harry-how horrible that you fell against your raised bed. Prayers for healing and a complete recovery. Let us know what the Dr. says.

I’m starting to take the community garden down, starting w/broccoli today. Better to do it in stages. Probably canning something later, who knows. It’s supposed to be 98*F for a high.

Cool, had hail last night, 1/2 inch rain, haven't looked at the garden damage yet, no rush to look.
Clouded over and supposed to continue for a few days, nights around 9c, 10c average, not surprised for an even earlier winter.
Feels like a soup day :)

Good morning .... Finally got a Dr. appointment for this afternoon.  It's currently 72 with forecasted high of 86.  T-Storms this morning.  Very busy work schedule today.  We'll see how it goes.  Not much else happening.  
 
Good morning everyone. The smell of smoke is very strong this AM, we are just too dry. The sun is pink right now, very pretty but not too healthy. Busy in the kitchen with harvests - just wish it was as tomatoes. Soup sounds delicious dragonsfire.

Good morning.  It's hot and humid.  XRay results were negative on my back and my hip .... the doctor says it's just a bad contusion.  Sure hurts like hell. The good news is my blood pressure was unbelievably good and I've lost 15 lbs since my last doctor's visit (last December).  Ironically, we had to get a new gun safe, that I'd pickup a couple days ago, out of the back of one of our trucks this morning so one of the kids can use it this evening. That sure was heavy.  With my messed up back and hip it was a struggle; but the wife and I were able to wrestle it out and into the the house with a refrigerator dolly.  Planning meals for the weekend and will probably make a trip to the store.  Also need to make a run to the liquor store.  This afternoon I need to mow and pick peppers.  The wife is pickling peppadews this afternoon.  My sister brought us a box of pears so the wife is going to make some pear honey and some pear butter today.  Busy day.  Be safe and be good.  
 
Good to hear Harry. Bike ride and working in the nursery. Wife is out walking with a buddies wife, girl is going to die. 20 years younger but wifey is so strong. Have a wonderful day and good morning.
