off-topic Good Mornin' Thread - For those that get up really early and post

Good morning.  It's 53 on its way to 58 and raining.  Very busy schedule today and I need to prep for a major review tomorrow.  Not much else happening.  The lawn looks great .... I can't remember a year that the lawn looked this good in September.  It needs to be mowed but with the rain and my work schedule .... it's tough to fit in.  It's been a really strange year for sure.  It's forecasted to heat back up for the weekend.  Go Chiefs!  Be safe and be good.    
 
Good morning everyone. Cloudy with snow still on the roof, 37*F on its way to 50*F. Thinking about making Cowboy Candy after I buy a few more pounds of jalapeños. Hubby likes it made into relish for sandwiches and on eggs. Time for some grocery shopping.

Good morning.  I'm a little tired this morning.  We stayed up and watched the Chiefs.  It's 56, foggy and drizzling on its way to 64. Looks like it's going to be a good weekend.  I've got a big review today and that's about it.  Hope to wrap things up by 2:00.  I'm going to have to raise the mower when/if I can get out there!  Mowing and processing pods for seed on Saturday and then harvesting again on Sunday.  Be safe and be good.
 
Good morning everyone. The sun has finally peeked out of the clouds so it should be a nice day. The cat hasn’t been out for 3 days and is getting zoo-ey so we’ll have to check out the muddy garden today. We’re bringing lots of my harvest to give away to older people in our church - sort of a farmers market.

Just got done with a bike ride. Fixing to go do two small jobs and mow my front yard. Peppers are pumping out a second harvest so thats great. Yall have any cool vegetable seeds for trade? Wife is looking for heritage and rare things. Ive got peppers and money for trade. Will find something on Netflix later and chill with the wife. Have a wonderful day and good morning.
 
Good morning.  It's 64 and cloudy on its way to 80.  Processing seeds this morning and watching futbol.  Later this morning I'll switch to college football.  Mowing later this afternoon after the lawn dries out a bit.   Grilling and beverages this evening.  Be safe and be good.  
 
Good morning everyone. The week ahead looks close to normal for September weather, no moisture. I’ll have time to clean up the gardens for next year. Some of the tomato plants froze on one side while they’re green on the other. Going to remove the tarp from the peppers today, check out what’s left at the CG.

Good morning.  It's 55 on its way to 77.  Beautiful sunrise this morning.  I finally got the lawn mowed.  I also processed around 40 pepper varieties for seed.  More to do today.  Today is also harvest day .... looks like a lot of pods are out there.  We'll see how long my back can handle it.  I'll probably get some futbol/football watching in too.  Stuffed peppers this evening.  Be safe and be good.  
 
Good morning. We removed the tarp from the peppers and the gals look fine, no ripe fruit yet, but we should have a little more time for that. I made stuffed poblanos for dinner last night - really good, especially with a few slivers of Bonda ma Jacques. Good leftovers. It looks like a beautiful day to work in the garden. Good morning. Dr. appt. this AM, canning tomatoes today and garden take down all week. Dry and in the 80’s for awhile. Sic - is that tropical storm coming close to you? Sounds like it. Scary.

Good morning.  It's 61 on its way to 82.  Very busy work schedule today.  The wife is shipping pods today and starting garden tear down on the tomatoes and tomatillos.  She told me she's actually looking forward to it :rofl: .  Not sure what else is going on.  Be safe and be good.  
 
Good morning. The smoke from the west coast fires left us for a couple days, but its back this AM. When the smoke is apparent in the air, I cut my time outdoors to an hour or so. Took a few things down at the CG last night, still lots more. One of the gals was harvesting a few beets that probably could feed a whole family with 2-3 beets. Her 2nd harvest - most of mine are pickled already.

Good morning.  It's 61 on it's way to 84.  Now we have the smoke here .... filtered sunshine .... not too bad but our air quality continues to decline.  Very busy work schedule today.  Not much else happening.  Be safe and be good.  
 
Good morning. Smoky air and clouds, watering at the CG and slowly removing plants. The green tomatoes are slowly ripening so I can easily share them with others. Not much else is planned yet. Have a wonderful day and remember those people battling the wildfires.
