off-topic Good Mornin' Thread - For those that get up really early and post

Good morning. 17-34F, what snow? We have tthe cold for sure, but snow can go East. Lots of soup leftover from the get together, so we will have that for a few days. I brought mine home and froze a few containers. More to make . . . A few of us got to talking tomatoes-to-grow this year. I was given the prize for ‘huh?’ Varieties.

Good morning. It's 28F on its way to 32F. Cloudy with flurries. The snowstorm arrives tonight. It should be a light/fluffy snow. Today, battening down the hatches. I also need to do some freezer organization this morning and I might take a first pass at taxes this afternoon. Sometime this afternoon, I also need to spread ice melt. Pulled pork sandwiches and coleslaw this evening. Be safe and be good.
 
Good morning. It's overcast and 29F, on its way to 32F. Calling for snow to arrive shortly, and snow all day, into the night. 8-12" forecast. Isn't that special. Good day to focus on garden planning. Good morning. 7-19F, snowing lightly. WX says snow and cold for the next 2 days. Winter is still around. It gives me time to go through seeds again. DIL wants dwarf toms to grow herself. They should do pretty well in pots. Meetings today, though I’ll wait to see if we Zoom mine. It’s a good day to keep warm at home.

Good morning. It's 28F with light snow, on its way to 34F. Looks like we only got 3-4" out of this storm. Heaviest snow was to our south, up to 12" in places. Calling for sleet/freezing rain to finish it off today. Looks like another futzer kinda day. Probably push some snow around later this afternoon. Hope everybody has a wonderful Wednesday. Good morning. 1-12F with light snow. We’re not going anywhere, just hoping the pipes don’t freeze. So far, so good. WX for tomorrow looks similar, though we have a museum event tomorrow night that we don’t want to miss.

Good morning. It's 2F on its way to 24F. Frigid. No snow melting today. The snow-mageddon was nothing like the forecast. We got maybe 3.5 inches. Casual futzing today. Too cold to do anything outside. Still waiting on the last of my seeds to be delivered. The USPS is just horrible (I'll leave it at that). Maybe some paperwork this morning and I still need to do my first pass at the taxes. Turkey and noodles this evening. Be safe and be good.
 
Good morning. It's cloudy and 34F, on its way to 56F. Showers this morning, then clearing and a little sun this afternoon. With the rain and the above freezing temps, there's been quite a bit of snow melt. Back to standing water everywhere. Cold moves in tonight (19F), so we're gonna have our own skating rink, lol. Have a Vet appointment for Buddy this afternoon. His chin hasn't gotten worse, but it has cleared up either. Always an adventure putting a 26lb cat in a pet carrier, lol. He's not a fan. Anyway, after that, I think I'll do some relaxing futzing. Hope everybody has a terrific Thursday. Be safe out there and enjoy your day.
 
Good morning. 2-42F and sunny. Too cold for much of anything, even snow. Museum tonight, maybe venture out and get a few groceries. We are definitely a spoiled society with people complaining about egg prices.

Hope Buddy is feeling better. Have several errands to run and need to get a bike ready. Friend and I are going to Sebring tomorrow morning to crew for another friend of ours. Craig is racing the 24 hour race. He was going to last year but had a 2 month hospital stay 3 days before race. Hopefully he is able to achieve what ever goal he has for himself. my goal is just to keep him on his bike and finish. Regardless its going to be a long day with no sleep. Good morning. It's 20F on its way to 42F. Warmer, mostly cloudy and windy. Hopefully some snow melting today. Bracing for more winter storms tomorrow and next Tuesday. The polar vortex returns next week too. I am sick of this WX.
Yes, we are spoiled .... we're complaining about egg prices that quite frankly are way down the list when compared to ever increasing energy costs, healthcare costs and nonsense.
Mrs. D. and I have the regular flu .... no idea how we got it but I understand it's running rampant in the county. It hasn't been debilitating yet. I've got to take one of the kiddos to school this AM (no idea why). Some light futzing is on today's agenda. Maybe some more ice melt spreading this afternoon. Finally, my last seed order should arrive today (13 days to arrive from PA .... good grief). Maybe this weekend, I can start brassicas down in the seedling room. Be safe and be good.

Eating out of plastic bowls? Who knew. Anyway, an antibiotic was prescribed. Either two pills a day for 10 days, or a shot, but the shot was more expensive. Easy choice. Have you ever tried to give a cat a pill? 😂 In other news, today is errand day. Several things to do. Then home and futz. Hope everybody has a freaky good Friday. Be safe out there and don't eat too much chocolate today. 💝

Good morning. 27-50F, with no snow in the WX. We had a great time at the museum last night, along with 1500 others, no kids. Lots of activities around the museum like a scavenger hunt, planetarium show on the many moons of the planets, and a ‘lecture’ about ‘creepy and wild bug se*’. Lots of good hors d’oeuvres. Just too many people!! Plus a live band. A fun night and good sleep.
Today is quiet, coffee group and Netflix.

Good morning. It's 38F on its way to 35F. Dropping to frigid tonight. Forecasted to get 3" of snow this morning. I don't see how that's going to happen with the temperatures above freezing. Anyway, I'm recovering from the flu. The boss still has a bad cough and is going back to bed. I'm going to watch the early match and then make a run out to get cat food and make a quick stop at the liquor store. Probably do nothing but futz today. Might watch the 4 Nations hockey this afternoon and evening. Chicken divan this evening. Be safe and be good.

Good morning. It's overcast and 32F, on its way to 39F. Calling for rain all day, some heavy at times. More ponding ahead. Great. Today is Mrs DR's birthday. Hopefully we'll head out this afternoon for her favorite, once-a-year lunch - a cheeseburger and a chocolate milkshake, lol. There's an old-fashioned drive-in burger joint about 45 minutes away, and they make the best, made-to-order burgers and shakes. If the rain gets in the way, we might wait and go tomorrow. Not much else going on today. Glad you guys are on the mend Harry. Hope everybody has a super Saturday. Be safe out there and enjoy the day.
