Good morning. It's 66F (19C) on its way to 91F (33C). Another hot and dry day. Plenty of outdoor activities in the garden and barn today. My wife is heading to the city later this morning for a dental appointment. Still too early to harvest but I noticed many pods are starting to change colors. I also noticed the same with the tomatoes. The potato vegetation is dying off ..... I expect we'll be harvesting in a couple of weeks. Sick kitty seems to be recovering. She's moving a little slow this morning but seems to have her appetite back .... I expect by tomorrow she'll demand to be let outside and out of the screened in porch (jail). Catherine ..... our best dill grows in the garden walkways ..... we have not planted it 10 years but every year it's back. Grilling and beverages this evening. Be safe and be good.

Good morning. It's partly sunny and 71F, on its way to 78F. Humidity 81%. Calling for severe storms again today. There were some in the area yesterday, but not here. About .10" of rain. Was able to spend some time in the garden and got a few things done. Plan to do more of the same today, if we can stand the humidity. Hope everybody has a terrific Tuesday. Been out watering everything before the hot, hot, hot starts - supposed to be cooler towards the end of the week.
Not much planned for today except keeping cool, although I quite fancy a bike ride before it gets too hot.

Ok one stop 4 lawns and im done for a couple days. Its 83 already outside already, our uv index has been 9 out of ten the last few days. Its just brutal out there, crazy how many people have treated me like trash the last 33 years of being a lawn dog. I think we need a little more respect for doing all day what most cant do for a hour but whatever. Buddy coming over tonight for some guitar playing. Have a great day and good morning.
Good morning. Brutally hot day on tap. It's currently 70F (21C) on its way to 101F (38C). RealFeel - 105F (41C). No rain. Sicman ..... I hear ya on the respect. Going to have to water today or tomorrow. The ground has cracks in it over 1" wide. Not fit for man nor beast to be out of the shade. Probably won't do much today. Might sit in the kids pool. The temp hit 94F yesterday, so we stayed inside much of the day. Going to the CG soon to water the non-mulched plants. Harry, I think we have had ‘free’ dill for a long time, too. This time of year it’s a weed.

Good morning. It's overcast and 68F, on its way to 81F. Humidity 82%. Might see some sun this afternoon. Visibility reduced and air quality back to poor from Canada fires. Sure wish Mother Nature would help them out with some rain. I don't know where y'alls heat is going, but we don't have a 90 degree day in our forecast for the next two weeks. I'm not complaining. Was able to get to the garden and do some weeding yesterday. Also broke the electric fence. Jerry-rigged it. Need to do permanent repair today. Cabbage worms are having a field day. Need to spray for them today as well. Sic - I think about you every time I'm sitting on the tractor for 5 hours cutting grass. I would not be able to do that daily. Yesterday, I fixed the leaking lids on my hydroponic system. Never done it before other than Aerogarden. It’s so easy and cheap so far. The plants grow 3 times faster. I have some Tabasco Peach pods after a couple months in the Aerogarden. I just put them into 3 1/2 gallon buckets for DWC. A few days and they are already stretching out. I only have a few buckets. To day I’m planting a few in Kratky system. No air pumps. Just plants in nutrient solution. Basic.

OCD I had 3 scopes, 1 knife and 8 1/2 yrs after initial injury finally had the whole thing cut off and replaced with metal and plastic. First scope is the wierdest because you have no idea what to expect but as long as all goes well, after that first month, it will probably feel amazing for awhile. Enjoy what you can but the harder you push the more likely it will cause bad things. Go slow and be careful it does get better.

Good morning. It's 82F (28C) on its way to 105F (41C). Humidity is 83%. RealFeel 108F (42C). Another hot day. No rain. We are quickly turning into a dust bowl. Fire smoke is the least of our problems. Watered yesterday. DR ..... our hot weather seems to be diving south with any rain going north or staying west of us. Not the typical west to east WX pattern. It will be too hot in the next couple hours to do anything outside .... better get my outdoor stuff done now. I guess I might run some errands. Be safe and be good.

Good morning. It's hazy and 64F, on its way to 84F. Another day of poor air quality because of the smoke. Yesterday, it actually stunk outside. Not like a wood fire, more like a house fire (if you've been unfortunate enough to have smelled one). Also, the occasional whiff of an electrical fire. Not nice out there. But....I'm going out there anyway, ha. Fixed the electric fence yesterday. Also, re-covered the blueberries. I think some enterprising bird had found a way in. Not anymore. Finished prepping the last three rows. Now, what to put in them, lol. Hope everyone has a terrific Thursday. Be safe and have fun out there.

Good morning. It's 80F on its way to 101F. RealFeel 106F. No rain. I will have the most expensive produce in history with all of this watering I'm doing
