off-topic Good Mornin' Thread - For those that get up really early and post

Good morning. 31-59F and sunny. The cold wind has moved the frigid temps to Harry’s part of the country. His turn. The snow still lingers in the shadow of the house where the sun refuses to shine. Glad DR’s brother finally has heat - not a pleasant time for sure. Do they live close? You are so good to check in on everyone.
Lunch with the gals today, then a bit of shopping for groceries. Good for your home rearranging Sic. It’ll seem like a new home.

Good morning. 15 headed to 45. Hit 50 yesterday and it was good T-shirt and shorts. Got walk in closet arranged yesterday and pantry as well. This morning will be garage until it warms up.

Knee is better today. If I’m not on it all the time it does better. But I’m not one for sitting around.

River looks nice and clear. I may drive and see if there is a spot to practice fly fishing that isn’t icy. Last thing I need is to slip or twist the knee.

Helping "neighbor" hopefully finish up today. The husband wants a few more things from property before being done with it. Shouldnt take too long as theres not much left. Got a lot done yesterday but theres a lot more to do so back at it this afternoon. Hopefully a little guitar playing this evening. I threw a bunch of crap away yesterday and it felt good. Good morning! It's been a little bit since I've been on here. The snow is falling here in NF, but we haven't seen anything close to what we usually see by this time of year. Other may hate the colder months, but personally, I absolutely love them. So I'm a little disappointed by the lack of snowfall so far. Hopefully that changes soon.

Other than that, life is pretty good these days. Attended a music festival for the first time since 2019 a couple weeks back, and I've been on a big Drum & Bass bender ever since. Gonna read a book today, do some laundry, and start figuring out what all dumb hot pepper varieties I will be growing in '25.

Good morning. It's 31F, on its way to 34F. Calling for a mix of clouds and sun. Doesn't matter, it's too cold to be outside anyway, ha. We also ventured to the grocery yesterday. Oh-what-fun-it-is-to-go....never mind, 🙂. I think we have everything for Christmas dinner. Having ham this year - yum. Today is a little bit of prepping, and a little bit of futzing. Plan to work on some labels for the hot sauces and jellies I made. Going to gift a few to folks that always ask for them. Catherine, the BIL lives about 3 miles away, Mom/brother live about 4 miles away. Pretty small town we live in. And yes, he's enjoying his new-found heat, lol. Anyway, hope everybody has a super Saturday. Be safe out there and try to stay warm! @ThrowHeat, be careful what you ask for. Just sayin', :whistle:.

@Downriver I am ready for whatever winter is going to throw my way. We live on a road that is plowed and salted regularly, and we have a grocery store that is almost within rock throwing distance. The worst I ever have to deal with is shoveling out our driveway, but the deeper the snow, the better the workout.💪
 
Good morning. 33-60F, nice December weather. No lunches or meetings planned, so we can work on more Christmas stuff today. The basement is getting lotsa stuff to be sorted, but that can wait for another week. Someday is always an option. Good to see you ThrowHeat. The NorthEast weather will probably have lots of snow sooner than not.

Good morning again. It's only 9 degrees in NF right now, and it is only supposed to reach 16 today. It's definitely on the frigid side out there. But I only plan on going outside when the dogs need to do their business. Other than that, I'm staying inside where it is nice and toasty warm, and I have plenty of spicy treats to keep my internal temp simmering.

Good morning. 41-60F, definitely not December temps. Daughter and I are making soup that my dad had made many times. I haven’t made this one for a long time, so she gets to help - and fill her freezer. We finally finished wrapping gifts yesterday, then watched a Christmas movie. It looks like another movie night is planned.

Good morning. It's sunny and 22F, on its way to 32F. WxGuesser says this is the coldest air so far this season. He also said it came from Colorado. Hmm. Catherine, stop that!:rofl: Just filled up the birdbath. The new little heater is doing its job. It didn't freeze. Yesterday I forgot NFL was on, but I made up for it by watching, ha. Today, more of the same - NFL and work on labels. Hope everybody has a peaceful and restful Sunday. Be safe out there and bundle up!
 
Good morning. It's 11F, on its way to 36F. Brrr. Calling for mostly sunny, so there's that. Futzed with labels yesterday, while watching NFL. There actually were a few good games. Good morning. 36-51F, sending those temps to Downriver’s for Christmas. I made soup yesterday, it’s OK but not as flavorful as usual. Lots of errands today, then my favorite dusting chore. I bet the stores will be filled with people who put things off until later. We just need cat food (!).
Enjoy the next few days before the holiday. Remember those less fortunate.

Good morning. 31-50F with sun and clouds. Busy day ahead cooking and getting ready for Christmas. Yesterday AM the stores weren’t as busy as I thought they’d be, but we avoided Costco.
I hope your holiday festivities are filled with joy and laughter. Keep loved ones close and remember those less fortunate.
