off-topic Good Mornin' Thread - For those that get up really early and post

Good morning. It's sunny and 49F, on its way to 84F (real feel 90F). Well, I guess Summer is making an appearance a little early. 90F? Umm, that sounds a little too hot for April, but it's better than snowflakes! Went over to Mom's yesterday and mulched her flowerbeds. Looks much better. Today, I'll futz around outside doing something. Probably a little shovel work in the garden. Hope everybody has a peaceful and restful Sunday. Be safe out there and keep the sunscreen handy.

Good morning. It's 59F on its way to 70F. Cloudy, windy and rainy. Much cooler than the past few days. It will be warming up though. Mid-High 80s Tuesday-Wednesday. 6" in the rain gauge and counting. Unbelievable supercell T-storms the past 3 evenings and nights. Hail, tornadoes, torrential horizontal rain, flash floods and high winds. This evening should be the last of the freaky bad WX. One more round to go. Watching the matches this morning. We're looking at a rain free window from 1300-1500 and I'll try to get out and install the new mailbox. That's about it for today. Grilling burgers this evening. Beverages too. Be safe and be good.

Good morning. 34-59F with no WX sun for a few days. Everything looks so green! I’d better take a few pics to remember this color lawn. We had a great CG dinner last night, meeting a young couple who will be put with another to learn how to ‘garden’. We checked out the garden itself, what a mud pit. At least all of our garlic is looking great.
Have an enjoyable day. Summer may not show its temps yet, but it’s on the way. Stay safe.

...wife is making something with the berries

Hey Sic, not 1 hour after I read your post about your berry harvest, THIS popped up in my feed. Too much of a coincidence not to share, lol. I have made some of Rachel's recipes, and they're very good. I have not tried this one however, so I have no idea if it's any good.

Good morning. It's sunny and 58F, on its way to 88F (RF 94F). Definitely Summer temps today. Yesterday was pretty hot as well, but I still got a few things done outside. Don't know if you recall, but the Gator ran out of gas last Fall and hasn't started since. I decide to futz with it for a few hours yesterday, and finally got it to start. Seems like it loses its prime, or something. Anyway, back in business. Also did a little mowing and weed-wacking. More of the same today, heat permitting. Hope everybody has a marvelous Monday. Be safe out there and stay hydrated!

Good morning. It's 46F on its way to 76F. Finally, the severe weather has moved out and is heading east. Today, it's supposed to be sunny, warmer and less humid. I have some office work this morning and then I'm going to mow and trim. The northeast section of the yard and pasture is under water so I won't be mowing that for awhile . There were 6 ducks paddling around and a great blue heron feasting on frogs in it yesterday. The sound of the frogs is deafening. After that, I'm going to start on the apple tree. I installed the new mailbox and post yesterday. Not sure what's on the menu for this evening. Beverages later on. Tomatoes are outside hardening. Be safe and be good.

Good morning. Still Spring here with a bit of sun, lows in the 30’s. Monday errands, then taking a gal from our coffee group up to gamble. I’m just going for the food. So most of the day is shot for me, though I am bringing lots of older magazines to read for a few hours. I’d rather be weeding (!).
Enjoy your day, futzing or working hard. Stay safe and healthy.

Good morning. Yesterday’s trip up the hill was the best day for our coffee friend. She won a little and the food was great. Now back to reality and pulling weeds. 😀
Nothing much planned today except a trip to a store for more potting soil. The store closer to us closed during the pandemic, so this one opened a bit closer. We shall see what else they have.
Have a wonderful Tuesday. Enjoy what Mother Nature shares with you. Stay safe and healthy.

Good morning. It's 58F on its way to 86F. Windy and very warm. Severe storms come back for this evening/tonight. Yesterday, I mowed and trimmed but didn't get to the apple tree. I'll work on that for sure today. After that, I need to clean up the seedling room. Not much else is going on. The big male cat has an appointment at the vet to get his glucose monitor removed. He's happy about that. He's had to wear a T-Shirt for what seems like months (to keep him from ripping the monitor off). Tacos tonight. Beverages too. Be safe and be good.

Good morning. It's sunny and 65F, on its way to 82F. Partly cloudy and the chance of a thunderstorm with wind and hail possible later in the day. At least it'll be cooler than yesterday. Yikes. Our outside thermometer said 92F in the shade. Did some push mowing and weed whacking, and was drenched with sweat. Tries to start the little tiller for the first time this year, and that was a no-go. Also has a gas leak somewhere. Getting it running is what's on tap for today. Hope everybody has a terrific Tuesday. Be safe out there and test out those A/C's. Summer is coming....soon, lol.

Good morning. It's foggy and 52F, on its way to 82F. Should be a pretty day. Yesterday turned into an errand day. Who knew. Anyway, the little tiller is on the list for today. Depending on my success, I might even hit the garden this afternoon. Hope everybody has a wonderful Wednesday. Be safe out there and get that garden prep done (unless you're Harry), ha.

Good morning. It's 61F on its way to 76F. Not as warm today with overcast. Breezy this afternoon with more showers/thunderstorms. Office work this morning and then outside to futz. Getting close to harvest the first of the lettuce and radishes (in the next few days). I might try to fit a few errands in there. Got out some strips and some stuffed mushrooms to grill this evening. Beverages later on.

Good morning. May has arrived with Spring weather still here. Yesterday’s errands were successful buying the potting soil I’m used to using, at a much better price than the closer nurseries. Also stopped by another nursery and bought a few flowers to start filling the pots in a few weeks. I don’t trust the temps yet.
Have a wonderful day. Enjoy the sun and celebrate warmer weather. Stay safe.
