off-topic Good Mornin' Thread - For those that get up really early and post

Good morning. It's overcast and 40F, on its way to 52F. Rain moved in last night, but should stop by noon or so. Not a great day weatherwise, but at least it's not s-ing, ha. This morning is filled with fixing a traditional Thanksgiving dinner. This afternoon we'll be busy eating it, lol. Hope everybody has a terrific Thursday. Be safe out there and Happy Thanksgiving! 🦃🥧
 
Good morning. 23 out. May go fishing later if it warms up a little bit. Need to practice my fly fishing skills. The water is clear in the Colorado River and I bet no one is out there:

Usually me and my son just go have Thai or Vietnamese Pho. Toady is Carne Asada tacos, grilled boneless chicken thighs, and enchilada’s with green hatch chili are for dinner. Mexican rice and beans of course. I might make some of my famous Jalapeño cream cheese corn bread. So moist and good. Sweet and spicy.

Good morning. It's cloudy and 33F, on its way to 43F. Might see some sunshine this afternoon. Well, yesterday was a LONG day, but the dinner came out great, and it was wonderful to have Mom and brother over. First time she's been able to come over in the last 3–4 years. Truly a thankful day. Today, my plan is to put my butt in the recliner and watch TV today. I've been told we have some errands to run, but it can be today or tomorrow. I voted for tomorrow, lol. Looking forward to those turkey sandwiches for the next few days. Hope everybody has a freaky good Black Friday. Don't spend ALL your money, ha. Be safe and be good.
 
Good morning. 21-40F and sunny. Still too cold to melt that first intrusion of snow. Coffee group, then shopping w/daughter for a few gifts IF the stores have them. Dinner last night was excellent and quite pricey, plus a bit of drama at son’s house when we returned. The dogs got into something, so they spent the night at the vet’s. I’ll find out more later. Usual drama.
Have a great Black Friday, spend time with family and enjoy time relaxing. That recliner sounds inviting.

13 degrees headed to 39. This is just silly. Need to move somewhere warm. 5 months out of the year sitting around indoors is ridiculous. 😂

@Downriver Im glad you had a good Thanksgiving with your mom. I dearly miss my mom, especially around the holidays. It’s just not the same anymore.

@sicman I got one of those. I just started playing the other day when first snow hit. I hadn’t played it since last December 27th. I get sick of routine sometimes. Took a break from zero TV for 5 months this year. It was great!! Still only watch a few hours a week. Hope you have a good day and enjoy. You deserve it!

Good morning. It's sunny and 30F, on its way to 37F. Winter is here. Highs in the 30's and lows around 20F for at least the next 10 days or so. Brr is right, Sic 🥶. Yesterday, I accomplished my goal. The recliner and I spent some quality time together, lol. Today is errand day. Oh boy. Then home and watch some CFB. Hope everybody has a super Saturday. Be safe out there and try to stay warm.

Good morning. 25-47F. Yes, DR, winter weather has settled in to stay. Daughter and I got a lot of Black Friday shopping done yesterday, though I’m sure some of the prices were inflated before we came 🤷‍♀️. Now to get them wrapped and shipped off. It looks like an event for later in the week.

Going for a drive out to the claim. Should be warmer later if not it’s still a nice drive.

Forgot it was Black Friday until last night. I made a list of things I was going to buy on Amazon. Got in there last night and the items said Black Friday Deal. The price was the same as it was a few weeks ago. 😂 Same thing happened last year. Black Friday is a scam for the most part. Sometimes electronics are cheaper.

Good morning. It's 23F, on its way to 41F. Calling for sunshine. A tad chilly this morning. Stopped over at the BIL's yesterday, while out running errands. His heat quit working. I think the blower motor STB. Service tech to be there tomorrow at 9am. That'll be an early start to the day, ha. Today, I think I'm going to update my seed inventory spreadsheet, then bag some more seeds for the swap. I'm late getting those sent in. Probably have some NFL on while I'm doing that. Good morning. 29-49F, a good afternoon for Netflix. Busy day yesterday cleaning a few cupboards in the kitchen, one big pantry to finish. I’d like to throw away 1/2 of it, but we’ll see. Spring cleaning a bit early.

We’re getting to know a bit about western CO but have much more to learn. Montrose reminds me of my hometown.
