off-topic Good Mornin' Thread - For those that get up really early and post

Good morning. It's sunny and 73F, on its way to 89F. RF 106F. Sunny with a few clouds, humid, and a thunderstorm this afternoon. Hope that rain holds off. Plan on firing up the smoker today. Butt and ribs. Might shoot down to the garden for a bit, before it gets too hot. @Sic, yep, saw the video. Cats can be hilarious to watch. They both yours? Hope everybody has a super Saturday. Be safe and respect the heat.

Good morning. 61-93F, the 90’s are back for a few days. Lunch with the ladies today, a Chinese buffet that is wonderful. But first it’s a bit of weeding and watering before tomorrow’s heat arrives. Sic, thanks for the cat video. Cute and smart, sometimes!
Enjoy your day, heat and all. Stay cool and hydrated.

Happy Saturday and good morning. It's 73F on its way to 90F. Breezy with T-Storms. We got 4.55" of rain yesterday. Also, the power went out for almost 4 hours last night. Utility trucks kept me awake with their flashing lights until 0100 (going up/down our road). They said the power outage was due to storm damage. I didn't see any damage but who knows? Futzing for a bit this morning then headed northwest to Lawrence for a BBQ lunch. Having that lunch with the boss's uncle (who unfortunately just lost his wife). Probably more casual futzing after lunch. The yard needs mowing but it's way too wet for that and will have to wait for another day. Beverages this evening. Be safe and be good. Hope the creek doesn't rise any higher.

Good morning. It's sunny and 78F, on its way to 90F. RF 101F. Clouds and breaks of sun, hot and humid with a couple of drenching thunderstorms. That sounds....special. BBQ came out ok yesterday. The ribs were overdone, but the butt/pulled pork came out pretty good. Probably taste better today. Might work in the garden a bit this morning, have a meeting this afternoon. Hope everybody has a peaceful and restful Sunday. Be safe out there and don't forget those in need.

They are both my cats DR. Had 5 but 2 old guys died and another went missing. Been on a walk then mowed the lawn and changed blades on mowers. Just chilling the rest of the day. Wife is off visiting her son's family. Have a great day and good morning.

Good morning. 63-97F and warm already. I’m sitting at the CG after watering, waiting for the heat. Most of the plants looked OK and I even saw a couple of cukes almost ready for salad. The beets look beautiful and we may pick a few next week for possible pickling (?). I’ve invited a couple of pickled beet hounds to try their hands at making their own. We shall see if it’s feasible.
Have a great Sunday. Remember those less fortunate, and share your bounty as best you can.

Good morning. It's 79F on its way to 99F. RF 115F. Mostly sunny and very warm. Still under a heat advisory. It's way too hot and humid to do much outdoors. Mowed yesterday. With all the rain we've been receiving, the lawn has never looked better for this time of year. Monday chores this morning. Futzing this afternoon. Grilling hot links this evening. Be safe and be good.

Good morning. 66-98F, a good day to stay inside. Monday errands, then more medical appts. The western wildfires’ smoke has given us poor air quality, so it may be best to wait for some to dissipate. I’m worried about Chuck as one of the fires is very close to him.
Have a great day as best you can. Stay cool and hydrated. What’s tomorrow, Sic?

Good morning. It's sunny and 80F, on its way to 93F. RF 103F. Calling for partly sunny and hot. No rain yesterday. Might actually have to turn on the water to the garden and water for the first time this year. Gonna try to brave the heat and cut the grass today. Hope everybody has a marvelous Monday. Be safe out there and respect the heat.

Catherine today is my mobile home park. We mow the common grounds and 30 units. I spoke with Chuck he is fine with any fires, doesn't even see smoke. His knee is not going as fast as he would like but he is walking a mile in the morning and evening. Apparently it's supposed to be hot today. I think we are having turkey sausage and dirty rice tonight. Have a wonderful day and good morning.

Good morning. It's 75F on its way to 100F. RF 112F. Partly cloudy and very humid. We remain under a heat advisory. It's been stupid hot. Not much wind to move the air. Yesterday, I picked the tomatoes and peppers. The boss processed them already. I've got a box of cherry tomatoes to eat ... Ugh! Today, our son is stopping by this morning to pick up some cleaning supplies and to borrow a truck. Apparently, he's moving. Not much else is going on. I'll probably casually futz most of the day and might sit in the pool. Beverages this evening. Grilling salmon later on. Be safe and be good.

Good morning. 68-86F, cloudy with no WX of rain - yet. Maybe tomorrow. Thanks for the updates, Sic. Glad to hear Chuck seems to be doing better. CG watering this AM, hoping to see a few beets are ready though I need a small bucket load to do much of anything. I actually shared my first head of broccoli, the rest are weeks away. Oh well.
Have a terrific Tuesday. Stay cool amid all this heat and stay hydrated.

Good morning. It's sunny and 73F, on its way to 93F. RF 105F. Calling for partly sunny and hot---again. Cut some grass yesterday. Way too hot to finish. Gonna try to finish today, but heat is supposed to be like yesterday, so that might not happen. Sounds like it's hot everywhere. Thanks for the update on Chuck, Sic. Sounds like he's making progress. Hope everybody has a terrific Tuesday. Be safe out there and heed the heat.

Hello all. Yeah, I’m still alive. Barely. lol Knee is not to good. Haven’t been to therapy in a month waiting on approval from insurance. Setting me back, but I’m doing what I can to keep it going. Trying to walk every day.

I’ve got 7 pepper plants in pots, 4 tomatoe plants in ground and a hand full of volunteer tomatillos. Smallest garden I’ve ever had. I just hope I get a bunch of tomatillos. I make a mean roasted green salsa for tacos.

Son will be leaving for college soon. I’ll have the house to myself and some piece and quite. Gonna be weird just me and the dog. Always wanted to drink coffee in the nude. 😝

Thanks for thinking of me. You all are great!

Have a good day.

Good morning. It's 80F on its way to 95F. RF 108F. We remain under a heat advisory. It seems less humid out there this morning. We are forecasted for periodic storms today as a cold front comes in from the north. That cold front is supposed to bring significantly cooler WX for the remainder of the week and into next. My wife is venturing out to do some local shopping this morning. I think I'm going to casually futz for most of the day. Leftovers this evening. @ OCD: good to hear you're still kickin'. Be safe and be good.

Good morning. It's foggy, with sunshine burning it off, and 70F, on its way to 93F. RF 106F. Calling for sunny and a chance of a thunderstorm this afternoon. Did some yard trimming yesterday, but not a lot. The heat is no joke. Need to get down to the garden to water today. Not sure what else I might get done. It's just too hot. Good to hear from you, Chuck. Keep working it, and don't spill the coffee! Hope everybody has a wonderful Wednesday. Be safe out there and respect the heat.
