I know this gluten free vegetarian (aka: the wife, or pain in the azz to cook for)  who would like this recipe quite a bit. Hold the Hab though (for her).

What the hell? No meat? sounds like Mexican hippy soup to me. I'm quit surprised TB didn't post it. Thank alla, musky showed up and said put some pork on it.
 
I have about a dozen or so pablanos left on my plant and will make this recipe on my day off this week. I'm the only "hot pepper lover" in my household right now so I will use a couple of jalapeno's instead of a habanero in the recipe. I think I will also put some chicken in the soup.
 
I am going to a farmer's market tomorrow.  They usually have poblanos.  I will buy some and make some green posole for Scovie.
