Greetings from the state 2010 Super bowl Champions

Fellow Chili Heads

Honored to be here,

Joined very recently and found myself wrapped up for hours in this forum, so much information a man could go crazy trying to read it all.

I will thank you all in advance for your "welcome posts"

I have been growing hot peppers of many verities for almost 35 years, I have a close friend that travels the world and shares my passion for hot peppers, every spring he shows up with 50 or more different varieties of exotic seeds from god knows everywhere, half the names I can't remember or pronounce, but they sure are fun to grow, many do not mature; Wisconsin growing season is not long enough, a real shame, and waste. I never saved any seeds, cross pollination; they would never be pure.

Last year 2010 season I grew just a little over one thousand pepper plants, more than 800 being hot. When I get a chance I will through some pics of 2010's garden, I'm just guessing but I harvested somewhere between 50 and 70 thousand peppers easy, and if there is anyone out there who has grown more than even 100 plants you know how much work there is involved after the enjoyment of watching them grow is gone, and I do this for fun!!!

I bought my garden a wedding ring. now she's the boss! LOL

So I hope to have some fun here, learn and make a few new friends, if advice is needed I know where to come and vice versa,

Thanks for your time, Cheers Spicy Chicken
