Looking good, Jamie! I love this plant and the pods…I've not grown C. frutescens for several years—I had forgotten what robust plants and vigorous growers they are.
 
Mine are yellowing and dropping some lower leaves, too (check my photo). But I think maybe that's species-typical behavior. They are definitely not getting too much water…I seem to remember my Tabasco plants doing the same thing when I last grew them, way back in 2010….

Here's my Chuncho from yesterday. It's right at around 4 1/2 feet. I don't have a closeup, but there are a bunch of tiny pods on it. Can't wait to try them when they're ripe.

Cooler weather on the way, maybe they'll grow some more. Right now around 4.5' or so, and been stalled for 45 days.

Mine has stalled out at 4.5'.  Weather is changing.  Lots of pods, and I must say, they are a juicy burst of lava!  I was surprised at the heat.  I have a different plan for next Growdown.

Beautiful plants everyone! Ya'lls plants have got me convinced I have much to learn! And that in ground seems far superior to pots/bags. Hopefully I can have myself set up right to go in ground and actually have some sort of chance next season.
