The postal service has been terrible! 2 out of 10 packages arrived in 6 days. Yikes!

Soaking the night before has been fine in the past. Some folks soak in solutions to kill pathogens,that shouldn't be penalized IMO. This is a 9 month contest,I don't think soaking will sway results.

Good thing my father in law has a crap load of scaffold material.
I'm gonna follow the "field of dreams" theory and build the scaffold before the pepper.

Mine came today! This ought to be fun, although I already feel I'm a winner since I ordered Large Orange Thai seeds two years ago and misplaced them.
 
Then I ordered more this year but they got confiscated in customs  (twice) with many others I wanted. Then another member said he would send me some, but he soon  fell off the radar.
 
So like I said just getting the opportunity to finally grow these nearly unobtainable little peppers makes me really happy. The contest is just a bonus.
