So just to clarify the rules..... you cannot sow until Feb 14th... but can I begin the soaking of the seeds on the 13th? Or is that considered sowing?

I had an 8 foot black habanero in 2013.... it didnt produce one ripe pod despite being extremely healthy (and of the requisite age (started in early January.) Just before the frost hit in late october it tried to put out a few, but the frost killed them.

You can soak anytime just can't sow until the 14th
