Seeds need energy to germinate. Gasoline has lots of energy. Sooo...

No No No.  Wrong!  Bad advice!

You don't use gasoline, you use diesel.  Take your seeds, plant them directly into a bunch of nitrogen fertilizer, cover with cotton, soak cotton in diesel fuel.  Light a match so you can really see what is going on up close!  You will create pleeeenty of energy...

Interesting.  I've never seen that method.  Doesn't the lack of airflow give you mold problems?
so far, in the coco blend(Black Gold), 1 of 10 hooked in 4 days, 5/10 total hooked in 5 days. It also contain earthworm castings, so, it isn't peat or soil, which might effect this humidity dome method. i have found coco to be my fastest sprouting method, soil; 7-10 days, peat; 7-14 days. Also, with coco, have to start feeding sooner than peat and a lot sooner than the soil........Hmmmmm.........So, I am thinking...In an air pot.... mix half soil/half peat  in the bottom of pot....mix half soil/half coco in the top of the pot.

You're growing in pure MG crystals and watering every day right?

No, I think I screwed up when I diluted the Magic Blue Crystals 50:50 with the Uranium ore.  They just aren't growing like they used to... :(

The daily update of shame...  It was 75 freaking degrees today, and the plant spent most of it outside under a shade screen that blocks about 1/3 the light.  (They're still not up for 8 straight hours of full sun.)
After sunset, they get bright CFL light until eleven or so when I read them a story and put them to bed. ;)

And this is all I have to show for it....   (They should be halfway up the palm tree by now!)  The watched-pot effect is just killing me!!  ;)

Damn, I'm gonna have to try for last.....15% germ, 2 days without heat, then I left em with the wife.(the queen of force reduction;)!!!)about 10 days ago.......so I may just have last place in the bag! I predict a second start when I get dry feet again.

Let's hope she doesn't manage to kill them off....

Here is my update, 5 out of 8 germinated and as you can tell some were late to the party.   My wife isn't to happy that these have to stay in our family room rather than in the basement with the rest of my seedlings.  Oh well, it won't be the last time she isn't happy with me.   :P  :P  Too bad we still have about 12 inches of snow outside, seems like spring is so far away.

6 foot.  Tall enough that I can go outside to go pee when the bathrooms are full without the neighbors complaining.   :shh:   Not absurdly high though,,,

Huh?  If the fence is 6 feet, how is that a 30 gallon pot?

Could be "trade gallons"---- 3 trade gallons is like 1 US gallon, 10 trade gallons is less than 5 US gallons... and so on...  That is certainly not a 30 US gallon pot.

I learned about that the hard way... when I ordered a bunch of "5 gallon pots" that turned out to be like 2.5 US gallons....

I think its really dumb...
