It's just too hard to juggle plants and space
when they get this big in their 2-liter pots.  The
plants will have to roll with the punches.  They
are already hardened off to 35˚F lows and 89˚F
highs - all in the last four days    I have a few extra
annuums I can replace killed plants with, but if
the ALD don't get past the next two nights, it will
be curtains for them - or maybe they will come
roaring back with nicer weather!

I didn't do near as many plants this year so I actually still have space and didn't need to plant out early. I'm still waiting a week or two with this crazy weather.

these pods on my plants have totally stalled out my vegetative growth. Thinking about pulling them and chopping. Anyone else experiencing this?

Not experiencing that, but my plant is showing signs of giving up the ghost altogether. What peppers were on it turned brown, leaves are all yellow, the only sign of redemption is a few active nodes trying to produce green shit.

That's the only way I know she's not dead...

The season is young, if she comes back she do, if she don't I'll pick someone to grow vicariously through.

Should that last be the case, y'all be aware that I can be bribed... :D

The camera insists on enhancing the green hue.

I don't think I'll be reporting any weigh-ins soon...

I'm about to set the failed pods loose, might help the plant recover. We seem to be experiencing a sainted season, last thing I want to do is poop all over it!

The patio plant has finally found her feet. Starting to branch out now.

Averaging between 4 and 6 flowers per node at this point on the patio plant. Very smallest of peppers forming here and there.

The ones I put in the ground have peppers already, but less flowering on average.

Interesting :)
"Averaging between 4 and 6 flowers per node"

  Wha'..... I thought flowers per node was more or less a genetic trait.
How can you have 4-6 per node, mine only has one, or maybe two rarely.
Maybe if I feed heavily with bloom food, I would get more pods per node.

Have yu had some cold nights, Eric?  That seems to
be the thing that affected my LDs.  They are full sun tolerant,
so the rays were never a problem earlier.  Only after a couple
of cold nights (35˚) did they start looking crappy.  They are
starting to put out new veg growth as well as setting pods,
so I hope the upcoming week of decent weather will see
them beef up a little.

Maybe there is still hope for you my friend!
