I think they run the envelopes through a machine, I know when you have a bubble mailer they check to see if it fits in this hole they have on a template, I wonder if there is a certain thickness allowed on the regular envelopes

1/4" thickness and one ounce limit on first class mail.  I can send a few packs
of seeds with one sheet of bubble wrap for a first-class stamp.

So far, I haven't had any damaged seed issues reported.

Good luck going forward, everyone!

All jokes aside, my dad had a car battery blow up in his face. He lost one of his eyes. I guess they can produce some kind of gas when they are charging, when he unhooked the jumper cables it blew up.

My first career was as an auto technician. I saw a few that had blown up, and I saw the face of a guy who I'll say was lucky. It wasn't pretty. When jumping, the cables get hooked to the positive side and the negative cable goes to the engine block, so any sparks are away from the battery. The dead battery will be the one to more likely explode while jumping, so it gets hooked up first as any sparks occur when the second battery is connected. And yes the gases are explosive when charging.

And I do hope that when we post utter nonsense in jest that it's taken just for that.

I think he actually had it on a charger, meant to just say cables. There were pieces of the battery all the way across a hundred foot shop. Broke his glasses, not sure if a piece of the battery or his glasses got his eye.

No point now seeing you guys are over a month ahead of me.
I mean it's mostly for fun anyway right? If you like Yellow Brain Strain and have the space, the competition is just the added bonus.

(between you and me, I haven't got a chance to win up here in Minnesota)

Ahem, I mean, I've got two sprouts now and they're on a strict daily regiment of Draino mixed with Diesel with road tar boosters every three days. Perfect conditions for a good ol' ass kicking!
