What a difference a large pot makes  :shh:

This gal got her ass handed to her in a 60mph storm last week. She seems to have recovered well...

  Wow!!  She is beautiful!

I'm hoping a recent cold spell kicks mine into production.

Wow. Really nice!
There are some really good looking plants in this thread! Im definitely a month behind everyone, but starting to catch up to where these last handful of fellas are. I will likely lag behind a bit in weight early on, but pick it up in the late season game.

Ill be hitting Panama for a Pepper hunting and surfing trip June 18th so, will be mia from the garden until July 3rd or so. Garden is in autopilot mode now, soil is right, irrigation is right, stank tank is right, got my Mother staying with us while Im gone to look after the garden and sauce/processing station weve started creating.

She was a huge help last year with all the picking and processing. This year I went 3x as many plants as usual, so we will have our work cut out for us. She even set up a harvest crate for each variety to make things super easy. No sorting.

When I get back, We begin the 2018 harvest.

This is gonna be fun! Im stoked for this years growdown.

I'm super late to the competition but finally got mine in the ground last week. Ended up being a much busier spring than expected, so I'm likely out of the competition at this point. Still love this pepper and will have fun seeing what I can get out of her. The largest plants I've ever grown where both yellow and red brain strain. Both were about 8' x 8'. Absolutely love these peppers!

I'll try not to be jelly of you guys with the early pods. [emoji6] Some of those plants are monsters! It's been cool and dry here this spring so I'm way behind by my estimation, but the plant started to blossom today, so I hope to go into production soon now that things are finally starting to warm up here.

1st pic blossoms, 2nd pic height, and 3rd pic showing canopy spread next to my size 10 shoe. Cheers!
