Aluminium foil helps a lot, also try putting that, into a holiday card or picture. Usually makes it fine.

I have had great success sending seeds to E.U.
with no problem. I thInk just about every one has
gone through. I just put a sheet of bubble wrap
into a greeting card, like Guru does. I hadn't
heard of the foil trick.

keeps scanning of seed shapes harder through customs..... is something a horrible person would anticipate for....
