contest Growdown Throwdown 2019 Sri Lanka - Chilli Red!

It might not be as impressive as Paul's constant freaking pube toppers... but here you go, one of my ripening SLRs. :)

The camera work is masterful, I know. Please, keep the praise down.

Thanks for the awesome tips, I will be sure to follow. This forum in general is so helpful already, but this sub-thread has gotta be the most selfless and intelligent place on the entire THP - people offer nothing but help and great suggestions despite the risk of therefore losing the competition. :)

Great looking plant too there 'fish, and pods already as well! Can't wait to see the regular weigh-ins popping up from now on! How long do these take (on average) to ripen?

Good looking plants and weights guys, between weddings and work the last 2 months Ive finally got time to post. Sorry Guru for the double weight update but I promise the first one of 8 grams was taken may 17th as we were leaving for Missouri. Unfortunately I had to drive it all and take care of kids 100% of trip so heres my catch up
2nd pic was last Sunday weigh in of 40 grams, there are more on the plant and I can finally plant everything in the ground
Total I believe is 60grams thus far

I've been struggling with which plant to choose. The one on the right has a lot of pods, and they look like GPR's. The one on the left puts out 22 long rifle pods :shh:

This plant has larger straighter pods, and the plant itself has a sturdier structure. Kind of like a large orange thai.

So I guess the smaller plant wins today. I did pick a few. And so did the grass hoppers

I've met a lot of people who think being near a tornado would be exciting.... until it happens. That attitude disappears quickly.
The one that ripped through my hometown in Kentucky when I was 9 sounded like a humongous train of destruction. Definitely exciting in the wrong way and I’ve had combat tours overseas that weren’t that scary.

Today's pull. I leave for vay-kay Saturday @ dawn; so the next pull will be all the pods that have size regardless of color. A bad time of the year to leave the garden on auto pilot when the plants are loaded, but I'm in SC for Mom's 84th B-day.

Road trip!

Sorry, just saw this. If you were asking me how long... I have no clue. This is the first time mine have actually grown this much pod without dropping them. So... maybe six months?
