Growing in the Pacific NorthWest Community GrowLog

There have been several yearly PNW grow logs, the last in 2017,
so @FGpepperguy and I thought it might be a good idea to start
an on-going glog for the PNW. This is a community glog, so anyone
is free to post here, whether in the PNW or not. Hopefully, this forum
thread will provide for some information sharing particular to growing
in our crazy, unpredictable weather.

So, that being said, welcome all. Don't be strangers!

I'm getting more color. Hydra Chocolate and 7 pot Katie.
Its very smoky with ash today in Lebanon. We have a South wind blowing it up from the forest fires
I'm not sure how that may affect the plants. Warm weather on the way though.

That Seven Pot Katie looks like a bumpy
version of my JA Red Habaneros! What
species is the Hydra? Bhut? 7 Pot?
 
My Sugar Rush are really taking their time getting color.
Next up a couple of Naga Viper are red now.
Last a lone Fatalli that has ripened. There are many more on the plant but are still green.
Time is beginning to get short. Its a race now!

Here is a picture of what just might be my favorite this year. Coyote Tooth.
A taste test revealed a nice sweet taste with a decent heat.
Its a compact plant and will fit nicely in the green house to finish the season.

Some of the chinenses have snapped out of the
doldrums in the past month of cooler weather, load-
ing up with pods.

The Red Savina is one I had high hopes for, and was
afraid it was a bust, but in the past several weeks has
sort of gone crazy. Looks like I may get a few off this
plant before the Fall nasties.

Indeed. Forecast looks decent. Unfortunately the
chinenses are in large pots, too big to move into
the greenhouse.
