Seen that vid before.  They also sell shorty shot shell rounds for close call situations.

I bought 3 boxes of the Aguila 12ga mini's.

And the Texas made Opsol Mini-Clip.

After only one cycle.

The adaptor popped out of place.

I tried it again.

6 times.

Still didn't work.

I threw the adaptor and shorty's.

Into an M2 box.

For later review.

I like to be liking the concept.

But for now.

Negative.

Thanks for the review.  I was on the fence about the "universal" adapter.  While it's hard to screw up a shot shell, if the mag falls out of the gun, that doesn't work.  On the mini's, maybe will work in a tube-fed mag (e.g., Mossberg 500)?

Its my understanding.

That the mini shells only work with the adaptor.

The adaptor fools the magazine into thinking its a 2 3/4 shot round.

But thats for Mossberg shotguns.

Obviously the mini's work in double or single shots.

No need for an adaptor.

Other manufacturers of shotguns.

Pump or auto.

Are also hit or miss.

As of now.

I don't recommend them.

Or the adaptor.

But there's this.

Even John had the adaptor pop out.

Still.

I want to believe.

IMG_1930.JPG

Already loaded up with a Firebox.

Small cast iron pan.

Stainless steel stackable pots.

General bushcraft stuff.

And fly fishing sheeit.

Oh and...

That ugly thang on the side.

Attaches nicely.

For when.

Its time not to play nice.

Have some surplus straps.

For attaching a couple rod tubes.

Like a Sage 6wt. and a Tenkara rod.

Still need a couple 6x8 canvas tarps.

Then I'm set.

Love the one you're with.

Jesus shit! What kinda ghetto-ass streams you go fly fishing in?!

I reckon.

You've never been to Alaska.

On another note.

An Alaskan brown bear.

Or black bear.

They don't give a shit.

And some bad people.

Don't either.

i'd rather.

Deal with the bears.

They are smarter.

Than people.

I've got a Remy 870 Express.

Before Remy's CQ went to sheeit.

26" modified.

Good all around shotgun.

For ducks.

Ptarmigan.

Grouse.

Bear trouble.
I have a 870 I bought when I was a teenager. 28 ". Have modified and full choke for it.

We ended up giving away my Dad's wingmaster when he passed to a avid hunter friend of my Sister. I hadn't hunted in a very long time so I had thought to disable and display it( Canadian laws on how to store are very strict), but it felt like was destroying a work of art. He uses it fairly often, where it would just be collecting dust in my gun safe.

Good on you.

For passing it on to someone that uses it.

28" barrel is GTG for ducks and geese.

Yummy yummy duck.

My favorites are gadwall and teal.

Sliced duck breast.

Rolled in bread crumbs.

Saute'd in butter.

Food of kings.

Guys, I'm so close to pulling the trigger on a Mossberg 590, found one in stock at a store 45 miles away.  It's $120 over the Buds Gun price, might have to work on the store for a discount.....

I've never shot a shotgun so I'm waffling between the 12 and the 20 gauge.  I'm leaning towards the 20g because of the smaller load and recoil etc.  Being the delicate female that I am (cough:not)...  But 12g ammo might be so much more affordable and available.

Should I look at the 12g because of ammo availability or go with the 20g for shoot-ability?

Thanks for comments~
SL

I kinda just want it for the collectability of it, being as they used the 'loophole' to make it.  And I think it would be fun to take to the range.  Not sure if it'll be next to the nightstand.

20ga especially with lighter loads will definitely kick somewhat less than 12ga.

20ga ammo is pretty common.

Having said that.

12ga can be handled easily enough by most people.

I bought the 590 in 12ga because my other shotguns are 12ga.

Why not buy from Bud's?

Or do you just choose to support your LGS?

Regardless though.

The best thang you can do is get the Talon rubberized grip to go on it.

On another note.

Rumor Intelligence has it that Mossberg could possibly come out with a .410 version.

Demand for that would be off the charts.

On still another note.

It can be a truck gun.

(Just don't leave it in there while not close to your vehicle)

A camping defense shotgun.

A home defense shotgun.

A country rat, varmint, pest gun.

It definitely has its uses.

I'm almost surprised Paulky hasn't bought one and posted his.

One more thang.

Don't let anyone else shoot it.

They won't want to give it back.

I'm trying to support the locals, but at ~$100 more, that's kinda hard to justify.  One local store charges $30 and another charges $50 for the transfer.  Kinda feel embarrassed to cll them up for a price and then go for Buds.  I know, just get me-self over it.

Made a note of the Talon grip.

Rumor Intelligence is right...for a change.

Holy shinola!

I might have to get this one too.

SL you need to take a look at this before buying the 12 or 20.

And its 4 + 1 not 3 + 1 as mentioned in the flick.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gAhTYGYDayA&t=624s

Light recoil.

Multiple .40 calibre rounds with each shot using buck.

I like to be liking it.

A lot!!!!

Does it have a plug in the mag? That extended magazine looks like it should be able to hold more
