Happy St. Patty's Day!!!

I'd love to celebrate with all of you, but my band is playing out for the second night in a row. After last night's bash fest (I'm a drummer) I feel like I'm 80!!! I even came home and downed a full teaspoon of hot sauce just to try to feel normal...didn't work.

Now today, I have to go to another club and do it all over again. I'm definitely not 22 anymore!!!

St. Patrick...what a jerk... killed all the Druids (who were at that time associated with snakes...hence "driving all the snakes out of Irland") and burned all their libraries because they wouldn't convert to catholicism. Then was "sainted" for it by the church.

Now people think he was such a great hero and celebrate his "holy day" (aka "holiday") when in fact he was a serial murder. Yes, happy St. Patrick's day indeed.

Best of luck with that gig DD!

hey chilliman...love that tag line Bro

Thanks, I have hats made with it and my logo and am going to use it for T-shirts this year. Always good to hear my bent way of thinking makes folks giggle!

And to all the rest of you Leper-con's, hope you had a great St. P's day.

I imagine there is some bar in L.A. whooping it up for all the beer they sold after Guitar God finished celebating! (cause let's be honest, ANY day is a good day to celebrate, and I am sure we will all raise a pint for Ghengis Kahn day! BTW what day does that fall on?)

i don't know about genghis khan day but i had some green on the other day...drank shitty busch but it was all about quantity this weekend..not quality. no cooler..so there was really no point in getting good beer. split a mixed six pack of sam adams beer then started tearing through the busch. had some irish ale tonight though..some wexford cream ale. first time i have ever had it...decent but not exactly what i'm looking for in a beer i guess. it is creamy and smooth though.

Try two bars. First went to Gorden Biersch and used my $50 gift certificate. Then I went to Birds and bought two pints and my roommate bought me three more. Then capped the night off with two Optimators and 1/4th a gallon of distilled water...still got a hang over the next day.

Ummm....i think you're off by a little bit there. In 61 A.D. the Roman governor of Britain, Suetonius Paulinus, led the Roman Legions against the last stronghold of the Druids, the Isle of Anglesey in North West Wales. Every inhabitant of the island was put to the sword. In Ireland, Wales, and parts of Scotland, things were different. The Romans never conquered Ireland, Wales, or Scotland, and so the Druidic influence was felt in these countries long after it had been exterminated in England and continental Europe. In fact, the true demise of the Druids in these countries was the coming of Christianity.

Genghis Kahn Day is before Idi Amin day but after Yasser Arafat Day which are all followed by Emperor Hirohito Day. BTW....Sean Connery the present, was reincarnated from the 1st Sean Connery who opened a case of whoop ass on said Roman Legions. Final score....Sean Connery 297 Roman Legions -35

I did, it was very nice of the whole company to sign it too.

Actually, we've (me and Dave) gotten nicey nice with the brewmaster at the Burbank location and he's given us free tours and had beers with us. Jason is his name, nice dude.

Similarly had the opportunity to meet and enjoy the splendors of the brewmaster at a brewery called Red Oak in Greensboro NC. Sometime you just make the right friends! Can't even remember how many free kegs I got for house parties, chili-fests and the like.
