I live north of Milwaukee but grew up in Texas where I began my salsa addition. I make my own and consume a little over a gallon a week (most of the year).
I grow my own chilis, a variety of about 6-8 different types from jalapeno to bhut jolokias and freeze enough to get me through the winter. Since I like my salsa very hot I don't have to share with too many others.
I am happy to have found this forum and look forward to being a member!
