Decided to move my OW area to behind the stairwell.  Used to be just a storage area, but I moved/trashed a lot of stuff this weekend during some mancave work and came up with this idea.  I won't need direct light on all these plants to OW correct?  So if I have to use ten feet of table under 4 feet of light, I should be okay since I am just keeping them alive?

My MoA aren't doing so well and I think it is a temperature thing.  I moved them upstairs to a south facing window where it is warmer.  The Manzano had some mottled leaves going on too, but it is under the warmer starting table.  I am in a bit of a mess with these right now as the light is their only heat source, so the light is always on.  I don't like that.  I don't want to run the heater in the grow room for one plant.  It might have to come upstairs as well.

I know it isn't from too much water as I have only been misting this one.  So I am thinking temps or something funky in the soil.  Arrg.

In their new home.  Saving space, easier to keep warm if need be, and next year I can use both spaces if I want to OW a lot more.

Decided to go fishing yesterday and caught 3 sauger.  Had a nice sauger dinner tonight.  Love homemade tartar sauce with a little habanero kick.

Nice size area you have sanctioned for da OW’s, it would be storage here as we’re tight on space, hehe. Sorry to read about MoA’s not doing well, they’ll bounce back with a little loving as mine went in and out of trouble along the way till they got big enough.

I had never heard of sauger either, glad you explained them to Jamie as I’m a salt water fishermon but had heard of walleye. I did a quick google to read up on them, sound wicked brethren and they look awesome battered and fried, great job and on the picante fudge as well \o/

Great looking coffee table for da man cave … hope you hab an awesome week mon!

Update on the two MoA and the one Manzano I started early.  Brought them upstairs where there is more heat (not running the heating in the grow room for three plants) and I can then cycle the light.  They seem to be doing better.  I get that Manzano in the garden and like the peppers I get off of it I will OW it forever.  Just over a month away from starting all the early peppers anyway now, so I will try to get an orange manzano going then and just OW until next season if I have to in order to get pods.  Time will tell.

Nice video, fox are far and few between around here, and not so brave as that one for sure.

Coyote's are the main predator we see around here. They are very skittish. Have any mountain lion?

No Mountain Lions around here, but my school mascot was a Kougar :)

Coyotes moving in here back in the 80s is the main reason why the fox population is so low.  I do have a family of gray fox living behind the garden every year it seems.

Anyone have a good line on 33mm jiffy pellets?  I found some that were 50 bucks for 500.  I imagine shipping is not included.  Seen some I can get for around 15 a hundred.  Amazon has some at 12 with possible free shipping.

Got some updated pics of the OW plants.  The last one is the chocolate hab and it just doesn't seem to be fairing as well as the others.  If I can keep it alive until plant out, it should be good to go.  It was an after-thought to keep any way.  Should have kept a big bomb the way they grew for me last year.

I also got a box of pepper love from Annie today...The powders smell awesome and the plan was to stick it on my fish tomorrow night.  Will have to try the powder in some chicken soup tonight.

The sauce is to die for.  What a tremendous flavor with just enough heat to keep you eating it (slowly).  This stuff would be killer on fresh hamburgers.  Too bad I am all out of beef at the moment...This will now be my dipping sauce for my fish tomorrow.  I doubt this sauce will see Monday.

It is sort of good/bad with OW.  Good, I get to get my fix of fresh dirt. Bad, it makes me want more dirt.

Found someone selling 200 of the pellets I need for only 20 dollars American...Of course shipping is $106.00 LOL

Wow, I've missed quite a bit here the last few days.  You're OWs look real happy.  Liked the fox video.  I haven't seen my gray since late summer, but I think I saw his/her tracks in the snow yesterday.  That's a nice deerskin throw rug you've got up there.  And spicy fudge, hmmm... that's a good idea.  Maybe I'll try making some of that next.
