This is from yesterday.  More have popped today and all 4 varieties are popping up.  I think I used a little bit too big of container for them.  First time error that will be better next season.

First ones the farm has ever seen.  Will probably have to pinch it off since the plant won't be able to hold it up.

Didn't think it was going to happen today, but the first hook from Saturday's planting was, oddly enough, the Not White Yellow Bhut from Sawyer.

I am hoping this means the sweets and milds will be kicking it big time by Saturday.

That would be correct.  Got several new peppers popping up in the tray.  Gotta get them identified and update the germ sheet.  Looks to be another good day in the grow room.

I agree with the others. Edema.

When I first read your reply, I thought you were saying it is only on the top of the leaves. That had me stumped. I came back and looked later and noticed that you really typed that only the top leaves were affected and then you photographed the bottom of the top leaves.

Edema is only on the underside of the leaves.

It is surprising to me that this is happening now in the gallon pots.  When I would bottom water the 3 1/2 inchers they would get a lot more water.  Maybe I hit these with a little more than normal when I top watered.

Thanks for the responses.  So glad it wasn't a bug of some sorts as I usually have no bug issues.  Only time I did was 2012 when I tried to OW some flowering plants that were near roses with some OW peppers.

We call them potato pancakes here, great with apple suace!

The edema is caused from the plant not being able to expire the moisture fast enough. The edema spots will turn brown, those cells have been damaged, literally they burst (kind of). I had some do that. I was lucky to be able to bring them outside and that stopped any further damage. So inside, more fan, less water. At first I thought it was bug eggs.

Have a great weekend!

Went through the watering process today.  It really stinks.  Neyde X got a little too dry, but they will be okay.  Walking a fine edema line isn't fun.  Going to end up watering more often, but less quantity.  I think that is what I may end up having to do.  Got some pics to throw at ya.

The bulk of my HBJ collection.

Paper Lanterns are doing well.  For not going to grow these, I still ended up with two plants.

A  couple Manzano pics.  No pods that I can see yet, but I didn't dig too much.

Couldn't get Pete to germ and ended up with 5.  Going to give some away as Cayenne....explain those pods!!!

I planted these seeds on the 15th of December, so this plant is less than 3 months in the dirt.

Hodge podge of plants.  Moruga, PSB, Neyde, Hab types.

Forgot to take onion pics.  Used too big of container, but they have lots of room.  Germination could have been better, but this is my first go at onion from seed.

Sucks about the edema HJeff. I think it is a very common problem. Doesn't seem to slow the plants down too much, just doesn't look good. Increasing air flow inside has helped for me. Increasing the space between leaves may help too.

Really your plants are all looking great. I wouldn't get too worried.

Plants all looking just super Jeff!

Some are ready for the outside already. I know this, they will be ready to hit the dirt a runnin'!

I know they are so ready to go in the ground and I am so ready to put them there.  Wish I could.  Hoping they aren't stunted as I am not potting up from the gallon pots.  2 months until hardening off.

I wish I could spread them out, but right now space is tight.  Temps hit 60 today, but we have another cool down coming.  Then I can move some things around and spread em out some more.  Just have the ceiling fan in there right now for a breeze.  I try to keep the edema ones on the outside getting more air.  The annuums don't seem to be affected by it.

I was worried until I found out it wasn't critters lol.  Great web site here and the people on it.  Once I get some rhubarb ready to pick, there is going to be a flood of newbie questions in the sauce section from me lol.

Ten days in and here is my round two tray.  I am going to try to leave these in here as long as I can.

Tomatoes go in the dirt in 5 days, but that is just another 72 cell tray.  Hoping to be able to leave them in the grow table and just adjust the shelf as they grow.

Went for my hike today, did about 3 3 1/2 miles.  The good news is the snow is melting fast.  The bad news is the snow is melting fast.  Yesterday I could walk on top of the snow, not today.
